Shopping for Debut

We’ve done our shopping for gown last weekend in Manila and we’re also able to do some shopping for our house. We need some decors and furnishings for the incoming debut of Ruth and we decided to shop there to maximize our trip there. Aside from the gown which will be customized we’ve also bought curtains, some clothes, decors and party things. The keyboard we want to buy for Josh is on sale with free guitar which I noted to buy next time we drop by there again. Family Bonding on Holidays

We had some family bonding last week when I was free to go with my kids because it’s a holiday.  We decided to go to nearby resorts in our place so we can really rest and not spend several hours for our travel.  Due to several work demands I got so busy that I didn’t have time to shop for my kids’ clothes needed for swimming and we just have to do with the old ones though it’s not that important as it was just a simple bonding and family outing.

My Party Hat

Last month we had our costume party for our company Christmas celebration and I’ve chosen a cowgirl costume for myself as I didn’t have time to ask my friend to sew me a Red Riding Hood costume. I know that making that costume would cost too much time and money so I turned on the other costume. It was rather easy for me to get and prepare the costume because my sister had it already on their last year’s party. 

The costume clothes were ready before the needed accessories so I just bought a nice leather brown sandals and search for a cowgirl hat that would make me look like one. When I went to the nearest mall to our house I immediately found a nice hat which looks like Western Hats to me but I bought just the same. When my daughter saw what I bought she immediately love the hat and whispered that after the costume party she’ll take the hat. Actually before the party ends it’s her who is wearing the cowgirl hat because she likes it.

Ideas for Different Kinds of Guitars

Love for music runs in our blood and I remember my granny’s stories of our grand folks known for playing musical instruments especially alpha. Granny would sweetly remember how she was always fascinated by the serenade and how my Grandpa would sing and play the instrument as well. Those were the days when women would view and hear the serenade from their suitors. Such lovely decade of romance and love. 

These days you will not be able to see and hear serenade, let alone a guy who will play beautiful song and sing it to you. With the influx of modern gadgets some people became lazy with hearing natural accompanied music. They don’t realize that hearing fresh music from musical instruments is still the best. Since we’re attending a born-again Christian fellowship we were exposed to various musical instruments we used for praise and worship. 

Because of this my kids developed the love not just for music but of playing musical instruments as well. I was really happy that they’re very excited about it especially that our church music ministry is grooming them to be the next generation of musicians in the church. They’re playing basic piano and lyre already but they admitted that playing beautiful song through guitar is one such dream of them because they love the sound of fresh music. They prefer acoustic guitar because of its natural sound not being amplified by electronics. 

Now I’m looking for  ideas for different kinds of guitars as they also have their own preferences for style, color and brand. There are specialized music stores in the mall which caters to instruments and online sites which provides a way for the customers to buy various instruments and accessories in the comfort of their homes. One of these sites is tesco.com which offers wide variety of musical items, instruments and accessories for the music enthusiasts. They also offer other items for sports, books, home, toys, jewelry, technology and a lot more.  

Since my sister promised to buy the guitar for them this Christmas I’m just saving my money for those nice little accessories like colored pick holders I saw in the site and guitar books also so they’ll have fun learning guitar. I’m also saving some cash for hiring professional guitar tutor who will teach them basic guitar lessons. This is only a start and who knows they will learn it quickly and in few month’s time I will hear samples of their beautiful fresh music.
