Girl Scouts’ Activities

It was a very busy day as I’ve been with my kids on their Girls Scout All Age Activities Program the whole day. It was a program set by the whole province of Rizal and some towns in Metro Manila like Pasig, Marikina and San Juan. It’s a yearly affair for Girl Scouts of the Philippines and we regularly hold it at Pasig Capitol but this time the venue is at SM Event Center in Taytay. One look at the place and I knew it can’t possibly housed all attendees and after one hour of staying there the managing team of GSP decided to separate Star Scouts from Juniors and Seniors. Star Scouts stayed in the Event Center inside SM while Juniors and Seniors transferred to Parking Area at the basement.

It’s not comfortable there and the speakers were not audible so we just stayed there and participated in some of the activities but the sense of fulfillment of the activities were not felt by the attendees. And since it’s in the mall I just took consolation that at least we can choose any food or restaurant we want. I brought along Josh so he can make some relaxing and strolling at the mall and he’s very happy about it. He ate with gusto at McDonald with his favorite fried chicken and so are his siblings, his two sisters Ruth and Gen.

We finished all activities then I let them roam around the mall taking notes that they particularly likes to enter bookstores like National Bookstore and Precious Pages where there are educational toys and books available for my kids’ age level. Of course they played arcade games in Quantum. Last stop was in the SM Hypermart so I can still have my regular marketing. We’re all very tired when we got home.
