Warm Buddy

It was a lazy afternoon with rain threatening to burst anytime. I was the last to leave the office at past 6pm before the CSR night-duty. Was having some calls and reading some text messages from sis-in-law to email another sis-in-law when I saw from the glass window of our building that rain started to fall. Seeing from the glass it wasn't so threatening but when I saw it outside I nearly backed out, glad I brought my jacket with me and of course my small umbrella. I'm like that I can't brave the rain without my constant companion AND MY WARM BUDDY-my jacket, I can do it without an umbrella though as long as I have something to cover my back because I easily chill.

Late Night Traffic

Heavy rains started pouring out just as I was preparing my things to leave for home. It was so hot when I left the house the reason why I didn't bring anything to protect me from getting wet. So instead of exposing myself to that monstrous rains I just waited for it to calm down just like a person who's so hot tempered, you need them to boil them down lol! I was just wondering why it’s always like that – after the rain the cars suddenly accumulated and before you knew it they’re on a bumper to bumper traffic situation– it’s as if the wet road kept them plastered. I reached the house feeling tired but happy that I’ll get to see my kids.

The Rain and The Wiper

Someone sent me a story about a six-year old girl who has a touching interpretation of the rain. The story really touched me a lot and it keeps me pondering her thoughts the whole day while I’m working and doing my everyday office works.

The story said that while the girl’s father was driving through a road on a rainy afternoon his daughter suddenly spoke and shared her thoughts about what she’s thinking all throughout their travel. In her young and innocent mind she figured the rain as our sin and the windshield wipers are like God wiping our sins away. I was amazed at her type and shadow of things. Got my chill bumps raced up my arms. And the rain which keeps on coming the whole afternoon means that "We keep on sinning, and God just keeps on forgiving us." I will always remember this whenever my hubby turns his wipers on and whenever I see someone’s car with wipers on. God is rich in mercy and always forgives us when we commit sins. God is really good…..all the time.
