Some Ways You Can Make Extra Cash

There are a lot of people out there who would like to make money from home or who would like to find some simple ways that they can make a little bit of extra cash. If a person is creative and they are willing to try new things, it may not be long before they have an at home job or they are making that extra cash they need. Below are a few ideas on ways that people can make some extra income while still maintaining their full-time job or taking care of other important responsibilities.

One option is for a person to work online. There are many small jobs that a person can do in order to earn a couple of dollars here and there. One example would be for a person to take surveys. There are quite a few companies out there that pay individuals to take surveys about a variety of products and many different things. They pay well, and a person can do them on their own schedule. All a person really needs to do is read the questions that are asked, click here and there, and then they get paid.

Another online option is to do freelance work. If a person is already employed full time doing website design, for example, they may be able to do some freelance work over the Internet. There are a couple of companies out there that an individual can sign up with. These companies will get them in touch with individuals who want a website designed. The same idea can apply to individuals who are writers, architects, and who have a variety of other skills. This is another situation where a person can work from home and during their free time.

If a person does not want to work online, they can always turn a hobby into a job. Instead of just making for all your friends mittens, you can start selling them. Or if you know how to fix cars, you may be able to make a few dollars here and there by spreading the word that you will take some car repair jobs in your free time.

When a person is creative and are willing to try new things, they can reach their financial goals. They could have a little bit of extra spending cash in their pocket or have the money they need to pay debt, go on vacation, or put money away for their first home.

Terrible Teeth? Tips for Restoring Your Pearly Whites

You hear people talking about how important a good set of teeth is all the time. Hollywood actors sport them, businessmen making money have them, even the guy who lives down the street from you has a killer set of pearly whites. So why don’t you?

If you have bad teeth, it can feel like you’re never going to be able to restore them to their natural brilliance. While some challenges are bigger than others when it comes to dental work, there are some things the average person can do.

Use this guide to help you get the teeth you’ve always wanted. At the very least, you can do a whole lot to make your teeth look better than they do right now.

Eat Right!

What you eat matters to your overall health, but it also plays a major role in the life of your teeth. It makes sense when you think about it, but most people don’t alter their diets to benefit their teeth.

Foods like apples, chicken and even cheeses are good for your teeth. It’s the food like simple carbohydrates and sugar that are bad for them. If you eat these foods, eat them in moderation, and always rinse with water before brushing.

Your teeth will thank you down the road.

Don’t Drink That

There’s nothing wrong with drinking a cup of coffee in the morning, and if you’re basically addicted to the stuff, you probably aren’t going to stop now. While skipping the sugar in your coffee can help, those brown stains are not a lot of fun.

To limit them, always drink water with your coffee and brush 30 minutes later. Brushing too soon after eating or drinking acidic things can damage your enamel.

Visit Your Dentist

Of course, it’s obvious that you need to go to the dentist if you want to have healthy teeth. It’s just part of the whole deal, right? Most people who have bad teeth just don’t see the dentist as often as they should though.

Not only will going to the dentist for cleanings and checkups help maintain the integrity of your teeth, it will also give you access to information about how you can improve them. From veneers to fillings and implants, a qualified dentist can help you in the fight against bad teeth.

How to Use Patchouli Oil at Home

Every time that you log into Facebook, you probably see a few friends or family members selling products from home. There are those who sell things like Tupperware or Mary Kay and those who sell products designed to help you get in shape and lose those extra pounds. Some companies even let workers talk about the benefits of essential oils and sell those oils from home. One of the more popular scents that you can buy online or from your friends is patchouli oil, but you'll want to find out how to use that oil at home before you buy.

As a Healing Agent

Though patchouli became a popular scent in the 1960s and 1970s in America, other cultures used the oil for centuries. One common use for the oil was as a healing agent. The oil can help you recover faster from injuries. The next time that you scrape your knee, stub your toe or accidentally cut yourself while cooking, carefully clean the wound as you normally would. Apply a few drops of patchouli oil to the injured area with a cotton ball before covering with a clean bandage. Use a few more drops every day.

As a Hair Treatment

Using patchouli oil can give you those gorgeous tresses that you always wanted too. Mix one teaspoon to one tablespoon of the oil with both your shampoo and conditioner. Shake the bottle gently each time you jump in the shower to thoroughly combine the oil with the product. Massage a healthy dollop of the shampoo into your hair, let the mixture sit for up to three minutes and then rinse. You can also mix a few drops of essential oil right into the shampoo or conditioner in your palm before showering.

As an Odor Eliminator

Patchouli essential oils also work well as an odor eliminator. Place a few drops of the oil in a diffuser to let the rich scent permeate the whole room. Many companies make clay rings that sit right on top of your light bulbs. Place a few drops of the oil on one of those rings before turning on the light. As the bulb heats up, it will slowly release the bold scent and mask any odors in your home. Use patchouli oil in a number of ways, including as an odor eliminator, hair treatment or healing agent.
