Proper Skin Care is Needed

My girls sometimes ask me if they’re going to have the usual face problems their classmates are going through especially my eldest daughter because she’s a teenager now. I told her that having acne results from dirt, too much oil and sometimes genes. My cousin suffered severe acne when she was young and no amount of visits to doctor can stop the acne from bursting into her face. It was the worst dilemma she had encountered in her adolescence days that she really search for acne scar creams so it will not leave a permanent mark on her face when she gets older.

I’m relieved that my Dad and Mom are free from acne since their teenage years which made me believe that it’s not in our genes and if ever we had one or two acne in our adolescence period it was just a result of stress, eating oily foods and late nights. I’ve told my daughters that proper hygiene and skin care are two of main factors to help prevent skin problems in the future.

Sleep Properly

I had busy days this week that made me so tired at night. I have to do blogging between my offline activities just to cope up with my schedules. I never really imagined that being a full time Mom can almost rob you of your time for yourself. This week I tried to finish all pending tasks at night but I can’t force myself to stay awake because my eyes seem to have their own mind.

DH told me not to sleep very late because my blood pressure will be affected so I followed him; besides if I sleep properly acne won’t develop on my face. Then I won’t be looking for the right acne medicine for my type of skin. It's quite a task finding the right one because skin on the face is normally sensitive and you can't take a risk on it. I'm very careful with the things that I use on my face. I usually wash it with my white germicidal soap and put only loose powder on daily activities. I don't put makeup which is why my face is always clear of anything that would harm it. Now I hope I can allot more time to my sites next week as I have tons of tasks to finish.

When the Kids Reaches Teenage Years

I was having some talk with my friends in school and you know those little mommy talks it’s always about family, children, hubby and chores. Anyway as our kids are mostly of the same ages nearing teens we’re talking about how they grow up so fast like Ruth my eldest who’s grown up really fast this summer vacation. They noticed that she’s a very big girl now just about close to my chin level when we’re standing up close.

We know that when the kids grow up to teenage years they will experience major changes in their bodies especially when the girls had their periods or when their faces experienced having some pimples on their baby face skin. I didn’t have much problem on that area when I was a teen but my cousin did. She started having acne when she’s in secondary schools and always looking for top acne treatments until after college years. She always consults skin experts or dermatologist but the problem still occurs. She tried everything that her doctor advised her and after sometime she achieved great results after she finally found the perfect solution for her. I also noticed that her acne subsided before she reached 30 years of age. I think age has something to do with it also.
