Corporate Accountability Has Reached A Critical Level In The Internet Age

A recent article with Charles Phillips in New York Times has served to highlight the fact that business professionals are taking a very different tack with regard to how they communicate with their clients and the general public, as opposed to the methods that were employed in the recent past. The reason for this change of strategy is obvious: The world wide web has brought the world together, and this very much includes even the top officers of global conglomerates.

Information Technology Has Rendered Corporate Officers Accountable

It would seem that the massive global explosion of digital information technology has thrust the musings and opinions of millions of individuals into the eye of the media. Suddenly, CEO's and presidents of nations all across the world find themselves in the glare of the social media spotlight, and very much accountable to the public. This development was foreseen by the most far sighted of tech savvy entrepreneurs but, for the majority of people, it has come as a rude awakening.

New Found Freedom For Some, Endless Gaffes For Others

This is not to allege that the coming of the world wide web has been a negative event in the history of mankind. Indeed, the Internet has provided us with a wealth of information and resources that would have been unthinkable to the minds of even the preceding generation of our forebears. However, while some companies and corporate CEO's have benefited immensely from the new found freedom to express themselves in front of an audience of millions, others have stumbled badly in pursuing this same freedom.

A Whole New Level Of Corporate Accountability Is In The Cards

It should be recognized immediately that a whole new level of corporate accountability is in the cards. Companies and CEO's can no longer communicate to the public in quite the same way that they have been used to doing for centuries. For example, if a company is the direct cause of an ecological disaster in some far off corner of the world, they can no longer count on issuing a vaguely worded public relations statement in order to divert attention from the matter.

Adopting A Whole New Approach For Communicating With The Public

Nowadays, word of such corporate neglect or malfeasance travels around the world in an instant, no matter how remote the location it may have occurred in. Not only can the public count on an exact statement of the true facts of the matter, but they can also expect to see crystal clear evidence, via high definition photography and video images, that proves the allegation. It is simply no longer possible to hide the truth from the public. As a result, companies have had to change their tack when dealing with the public.

What Should Be Learned From This New State Of Affairs

Perhaps the main lesson that needs to be learned from this wholly new state of affairs is the fact that a new level of trust and intimacy needs to be developed between the public at large and the corporations that sell goods and services to it. Without this trust, it will be impossible for companies to develop the necessary good will that enables them to stay in business for the foreseeable future.

Importance of Good Communication and Translation Services

Communication is vital to any field of education or work you entered into. With good skills in communicating with other people one can convey his message clearly and without doubt. In the field of education it is one of the primary concepts of relationship between teachers and students because it’s their way of expressing themselves to better understanding of lessons tackled every day.

In business it is important that everyone can communicate with ease for smooth exchange of views and plans on the company’s success. Without communication there will never be a unified business perspective as some would be shy to voice their own ideas among them. It is with sadness to see people experiencing difficulty in conveying his message to his colleague because they’re never been trained to foreign-speaking environment.

In such importance we should be aware that learning languages will be of great help in solving communication problem. I’ve watched various pageants in which candidates find the need to translate to french canadian or into the global like English language. That is how I first noticed language translators and how they portray major role in such big events.

With professional translation services from Canadian French translators they can help businesses and organizations communicate their important messages not just in English but in Canadian French as well. Rest assured your message and good ideas will never be lost in conveyance.

My Call All Wireless Landline Phone

My new call all wireless phone has been such a great help to us. Aside from having a landline number in the house I can also carry it anywhere I go and I can call to any place in metropolis when I’m in the province. It’s actually an extension of my brother’s privileges in his current landline phone provider who gave him two wireless numbers to use aside from their regular wired landline. I just learned that I can buy a specific phone unit to attach my SIM but I’ll have to wait until I’m free from work before I can go to the office. Anyway I thought I can attach the SIM to the phone we have in the house with aaa rechargeable batteries but found out that it’s not for wireless phone numbers. Oh well for now it’s attached in one of our mobile phones and will be there until I purchased the specific phone for it. That is when I’m free from my very busy schedule.

Enjoying the Chat

I was both happy and tired last weekend including this day which was declared as a non-working holiday to give way for a high position official in one of the religious organization in the country. We spent the whole weekend celebrating Josh’ birthday in our house, had some night outing in one of the malls where my hubby works and ended yesterday with a little eating celebration in the church. We were so happy that despite hubby’s busy work we have managed to give the kids the birthday celebration they want. I’m just too tired to post for my online tasks but anyway I’m entertained very well by my instant messaging online office friend where I was told that she had engaged herself in a live chat and she enjoyed it well.

Previously I looked at the chat technology as a means of enjoyment and pleasure only but I was amazed that it could also be used in businesses to increase their sales. It helps to market and boost your products and at the end be competitive.

Getting In Touch

Now that situation in East Timor is getting good I had a chance to chat with my dear friend Myrns through yahoo messenger especially during lunch breaks. It was a nice feeling as few weeks ago I got worried on the news about the situation in the place where she and her husband are both working. Speculations were wrong and she said that they're all in good condition and there's no civil war there. Now I'm at peace in thinking that they're both fine. She's also prettier now with her new look, she has long hair now! Her hair has really grown so fast from her old very short hair.

Looking forward to my lunch breaks of talking to her through instant messaging. Thanks YM!
