Thinking of Good Investment

My friend is so fond of buying real estate properties although she just keeps it for investment purposes. She has a nice house in the city and in the province and just want to secure her money by buying land that will appreciate value throughout the years. She didn’t want to work anymore and keeps herself busy with small scale business. 

Now she wanted to venture into another investment again and thinking of buying golden eagles coin for a change. Seeing the kids growing up past as the years go by we really have a need to plan for their college education as the eldest will enter university in three years time. Now we’re saving some of our earnings from online writing because my new office job takes care of the bulk of our daily expenses. I’m happy that we can afford to have some savings now after the major school expenses have finished. Well some would consider the advice while some would not; it will also depend on their personal opinion. Gold has been known to withstand depreciation values brought about by wars, inflation and calamities. Finances are really hard these days with the opening of classes this coming week. My two girls will start this Monday while the youngest on the next week after that. In three years time I’ll have a kid who will enter college and I hope when that time comes we’ll be ready to give her the best education for her desired career in life. I’ve been collecting old coins since I was a kid. My Mom gave me my first old coin and told me that it’s precious to her. Upon realizing that it’s indeed precious because of the year indicated in the coin I started my own collection, not much I think because my busy schedule at work prevented me from continuing my collection. Now I’m seeing those us coins investment and I’m wondering when will I be able to invest even on few pieces of those coins. Shenandoah Valley Farmland

Almost all of us want to have investment in life and they put their money on lands, jewelry and gold to ensure that someday they will reap the fruits of their investment. It’s normal for a person to think of investing on tangible things because he thinks that it’s one of the ways of preserving your money. I also want to invest my money on some small farmlands in my Mom’s hometown if ever I’ll have a chance to allot some funds for it. I want to invest in that town and who knows we might decide to live there so we can enjoy the peaceful living in the province where time seems to be slower than that of the city. So I’m wondering what it’s like to live in the valley or near it. My friend loves searching through lands in peaceful villages because he also wants to have a land that he can call his own when he grows old. I just talked to my cousin who has a son working abroad and I told her to teach his kid in saving some of her earnings. It’s hard to earn money these days but it’s especially difficult when you’re far from your family. I’m sure people working abroad will agree to my statement that it’s indeed hard when you’re not with your family. Anyway I told her it’s best to invest some of his son’s saved money on something tangible to ensure return of investment. Wedding Dowry

Since my cousin is getting married I was just wondering if they will still do the dowry thing which was practised in the old days in our province. My Mom told me that dowry can be a house and lot or precious jewelry like gold and silver. They’ve practised it in their wedding and many couples are still following the tradition. It’s not bad at all because that would also be the bride’s future properties. Maybe the old generation folks wanted to ensure the future of their daughters that they ask for dowry, some give the dowry to parents or whatever is the agreement. I’m too young then to understand things like that because I was only there up to 7 years of age and then we moved to our present home now. 

I keep thinking if it’s possible that dowry can be investments like bank statement, a business or other forms of gold like coins and bullion. Well that would be a much higher value because nowadays a good investment can be your door to your success so it’s important to think carefully before plunging too quickly on investment. Hard-earned money should be meticulously planned before spending.

Granny's Story About Gold Bars

My memory took me back to my childhood in our province where we used to play in the vast field, small narrow river and luscious fruit-bearing trees. It was only stories that I can share to my kids because we seldom go there and not on long period also so they didn’t experience living in the fresh and cool temperature of their Granny’s hometown. I have gold memories of my happy childhood with our dear Granny who was always there for us to give our childish whims and wishes.

I remember how she used to tell us stories of the war times when Japanese soldiers buried precious jewels and gold bars in our town. I really thought that half of those stories were fiction but after several years after she died I heard stories of land owners there who found the treasure. Still unbelievable but it’s true. Even these days they think there are more gold in those lands. Gold is really a good investment. Old Stories from the Past

There are many beautiful moments in our lives but sometimes we fail to recognize them as they come simply. Sometimes I want to relax myself so I would have time for the simple things in life which I failed to notice most of the time because of the regular duties and chores that took up most of my time. I envy those old folks in the province because they have all the time in the world to appreciate everything coming their way and to talk of how much they value their investment of gold coin and other precious jewelries. 

That’s what I heard when I was a child, the folks near me has been talking about how many wealth were hidden in our town. As a child I believed it of course because children tend to believe what they hear from the seniors. Now some of the stories came true but some still remained in the minds of old folks. We’re inseparable for 5 long years and we wouldn’t let those good friendships slipped away because of our busy life. 

Friends come and go but those true friends we came to know and been with should be treasured. Balance of Work and Earnings

It’s been a year since I left my 16-year old job to take care of my family and concentrate on earning money through online writing. Even though I resigned from the company my employer in his good heart gave me some retirement money for my savings or to start a small business. He actually didn’t want to let me go but emergency situation in my family forced him to finally let me go. He finally signed my resignation after more than a year of filing it. He’s so dear to me and gave my heartfelt thanks for the years we’ve worked together. 

After being free from corporate world I was unsure first if I’m going to start my dream bakeshop or invest my money on anything that will earn me profit like buying stocks, gold bullion or any other kind that promises good returns. Well I didn’t venture on any business that I had in my mind because I became too busy with adding up sites that it consumed all my working hours. Suddenly I became busier than when I’m working regularly in my previous work. I didn’t foresee that handling many sites is a lot busier and tasking than spending an 8-hour job in corporate world. But I realized also that I can’t earn that much if I stayed in my previous work so it’s just a great balance of work and compensation. If I work hard I’ll earn money and If I’ll work harder I’ll earn more. Makes sense huh!

Securing the Kids’ Future

I was talking with my school friends last week and we’ve updated ourselves with our lives, families and what’s keeping us busy. We couldn’t get enough of ourselves because we’ve never seen each other for more than a decade. Some are living abroad so it’s impossible to have the complete presence of our group. But we promised ourselves to keep in touch and have our FB active so we can always communicate with each other. It’s really nice to see old friends that you’ve loved over the years. We’re also talking of how we’re coping up with our kids’ education and how we’re investing our money for the kids’ future.
