Nanny Camera

For working moms like me we have no choice but to leave our kids to the care and protection of hired nannies because we work for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Lucky are those who can afford to stay home and personally administer their household and kids. I really envy them and been thinking a lot these days what would be the best plan to work and at the same time care for their personal and emotional needs. I also want to know what’s happening with my kids the time that I’m in the office. I know one officemate of mine who uses nanny camera to make sure that the nannies are doing the right thing with her toddler son.

Some may not like this kind of security that parents are doing but most parents are really over protective regarding their children. They want the best protection for their kids especially if the kids are infant or toddler. Some feel secured if there’s nanny camera on their house in which they can view their child’s activities and how their nannies treated them. Who knows? Each and every person has their own characteristics and moods. What if the one you entrusted to take care of your precious kid is capable of hurting children?

Each person has his/her own rights and I’m sure most nannies wouldn’t like or would feel uncomfortable if they will know that they’re being monitored by nanny camera. Best if they will never ever know it’s there. Anyway there’s a site that offers various types of nanny cameras disguised as mere decoration, toys, clocks or small appliances to make sure that kids are safe in your own house even if you’re no there. They have special designs like the nanny camera disguised as wall clock, wireless teddy bear cameras, black box, time recorder and DVD players. These designs can be easily set up for monitoring and recording as well. With these gadgets and modern technology reaching our homes there’s no need to worry about the time that we’re away from our loved ones.

Guide on EON Cyberaccount and Paypal

Got a call from Bes JennyL about enrolling to Union Bank and have realized that some people including me must have missed a step on having our EON Cyber Account and Paypal Verification.

JennyL forwarded me our blogger friend Cherry Rose’s ‘Steps to make your Paypal Account verified’. It was very helpful indeed just like all that Chikai has been teaching us, you know she always want help bloggers the ins and outs including this guideline that she posted on her blog. Thanks Chikai!
Now, I’m posting my own experience on doing this step-by-step guide if this can help bloggers out there who want to open an EON Cyber Account to get their Paypal verified.(kinda long :-)

Open Union Bank’s online banking, apply for an EON Visa Electron, be sure to specify your desired branch. Wait for 5-7 banking days, then go to your specified branch, it’s only 5 days but I’m glad that I waited for 7 days because when I reached the bank the staff said that the card has just arrived. Bring 2 IDs (3 to make sureJ) and have photocopies because the bank will get them. Pay P350 for yearly payment and deposit an equivalent of USD1.95 to be sure deposit at least P200. This deposit is for the lifting of your Paypal withdrawal limits of up to $500. The bank will give you your pin# and make sure you change this given 4-digit pin# into your own secret pin#.

After one week when your debit card is activated enroll your card to Unionbank Online Banking. Choose Cyber Account and they’ll ask for your username/card number and pin#.
Done? then go to your Paypal account and go to profile then click add or edit card. Type Visa as the type of card and be careful to type the same billing address as your EON Cyberaccount or it won’t add your card. Then Link your card and be sure that you’ll be deducted an amount of USD1.95 or equivalent peso for assurance that you’re done with it.
When approved, wait for 5 days (this is the maximum no. of days) and call their hotline number at 84-186 to get your Paypal Expanded Code. This is better than the other option to email Unionbank services online through EON CyberAccount.

Now if you already have your Paypal expanded code go back to your paypal account and confirm it by filling out the field for your 4-digit expanded code. You’ll receive a confirmation that your account has been verified. You can now go on with your paypal transaction.
