Stay Cool and Fresh While Saving Energy

As most households now are using cooling system or air conditioners people are getting stressed with their electric bills each time the bills come knocking at their door. It’s nice to stay cool and fresh all day but it would mean higher electric bills also so we should know some measures to take in order that we can maximize our energy to its full potentials. We can conserve our energy  even if we’re using cooling unit just as long as we know how to efficiently do it.

If the unit is for repair  or with certain technical trouble it would consume more energy. So better check out air conditioning if it’s in good condition or not and hire air cooling experts that can give reliable and quality service. Don’t fret over your high electric bills and bad performing coolers, ask help from the experts and stay cool and fresh.

Thinking of Ways to Conserve Energy

We had an increase in electric bill by about 65% last month but actually the kilowatt hour consumed was almost the same as the previous months. I’m trying to figure out some steps in order to lessen our consumption as the rates is really so high now. If only I knew someone who took up weatherization training then he’ll surely help me weatherize our house energy costs. We really need some plans on how we can save electricity because the provider is always increasing its rates.

It’s really hard on the pocket of the consumers as all losses in their company was charged and divided to all their customers. Losses come from those who have illegal connections but our electric provider doesn’t shoulder that and leave all things to consumers’ expenses. I was thinking that it should not be divided to consumers because illegal connections should be monitored and taken care of the staff. They should be vigilant enough to catch anyone who does illegal connections. That’s not our job, it’s theirs.

Save Energy!

Due to road widening in our place our electric meter’s glass cover was accidentally broken during the demolition of commercial space near our house. It was our meter many years back and we’re so glad that it’s a mechanical meter not the new digital meter being imposed by the current provider of electricity. When Meralco knew about this they replaced our old broken meter with their new digital meter.

This changing of meter alarmed us because I’ve heard stories of sudden increase of meter reading due to new digital meters. True enough our usage or watts consumed has increased by 20% and when we requested for a mechanical meter they said that they will phase that kind of meter so they will not be able to grant our request. As there’s no point in arguing with them we just thought of solutions on how we can minimize our consumption so I look for energy efficient lights and appliances that will help us save energy and money.
