Recreational Game Bonding with the Family

Having a big family requires a lot of attention and recreational time for the kids to enjoy family bonding together. It’s when they spend their time away from school and from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. As a Mom I usually spend my weekends cooking for my family for them to enjoy not just our time together but their favorite foods as well especially when I have free days away from my work. At the end of the day we spend the rest of our time either watching netflix shows or playing games be it real games or free online games. Kids these days are fond of playing online games which requires creativity and fun actions.

My kids enjoy fast paced games like network gaming, word games or puzzles that brings out the best of their intellects, as long as the challenge is there they seem to like it. I join them when they play online word puzzles like scramble video game.  The game is very interesting and having played scrabble and word factory games a lot I seem to enjoy it. In this game you just use whatever letter tiles you see in the playing field to create words, you type it and submit. I need to be fast in creating and submitting words or the letters will pile up and gets jumbled. I get excited whenever I finish one level after another. It brings out the best of my vocabulary words and I also learn from it. I’m actually amazed that my kids are even faster that I am.

My son who loves blocks usually plays minecraft and tetra blocks game as he feels good setting up all those blocks into some sort of order. Though it’s easy on the starting point it gets harder when you miss the right order of blocks and the tower gets higher and movements get faster. Well this is also my favorite and I can play it with much ease and comfort just like my son. We reached higher points than others and we just love playing it over and over again especially when we see the stars brighten upon connecting them next to each other. Games can really make you young at heart.

My husband sometimes splurge into playing to rest his mind off his busy work schedule but he relaxes when playing the good old school game solitaire as it’s a really relaxing game where you can play at your own pace, just thinking on the moves and completing the pile of cards. He just needs some concentration and he can enjoy it without pressure. Well everyone has their own preferences when choosing games and it always depends on what triggers your curiosity or what challenges you more. What matters also is enjoying every minute of playing so it will be a happy moment not just for you but for the whole family as well. So whenever you have free time from your busy work days start your own family game bonding and look out for some free, fun games on solitaire.org.

Ways to Enjoy Life with Fun Online Games and Hobbies

Everyone has their own share of happy childhood memories of fun games and outdoor activities that they’ve grown so fond of. It’s something that they had in their younger years when games ruled out their weekends and school breaks. Everyone experienced being young and energetic that they sought certain hobbies that would keep them entertained. Be it playing ball or board games, singing, dancing, cooking, drawing, sports, and outdoor activities, it always keeps their minds preoccupied and refreshed from the usual routine and boring activities. It also kept them thrilled and enthusiastic. Even to the grown-up individuals they still need to have some sports or hobbies to beat the stress of the daily bustle of life.

In my early childhood with my big brother, little sister and plenty of cousins around me, we played all sorts of games that did not require many toys and gadgets. In the province back then we played ball games in the field, climbed trees, played water sports in the river, tumbled in the grass, rode horses at the sides, played hide and seek and just enjoyed everything offered by nature. At home we played scrabble, rubber bands, cards and riddle games that kept us awake at night even if our elders were telling us to sleep early. Even when we moved to my father’s hometown near the entrance of the city, life was still simple and games were still the natural kinds where children just play whatever games they want out in the streets just before dinnertime.

Life became different when technology started to unfold where children started playing the Family Computer, who didn’t know the very famous Super Mario Bros. game. My best friend has even stuffed Super Mario toys which she adores so much. I actually played it with her in their home together with that handheld game consoles which get us so excited, actually not only us but adults as well. I particularly loved playing Pac-Man, a maze action game where the player controls a dot-eating Pac-Man inside an enclosed maze while avoiding ghosts to keep his life. Pac-Man should eat power pellets for him to eat the ghosts to have bonus points and a bonus life too. You need to be fast and alert, or you’ll be eaten by ghosts. Just thinking of it made me smile. I started playing blocks and learned to love Tetris, where I need to complete lines by moving differently shaped pieces. These games are super entertaining for me because my mind gets so focused while my heart is excitedly controlling my hand.

As years gone by these games were played on desktop computers where online games became so exciting like playing Mystery Case Files where the player plays Master Detective for the hidden object puzzles and must find a certain number of items hidden somewhere on a painted scene. It became popular with the working individuals where we spent our lunch breaks trying to finish those puzzles. It’s also the time when cellular phones entered the gaming world, and people played Snake, Solitaire, block games like Tetris, board games like Scrabble and Chess, and for those who want speed they played running cars.

Life is so happy with games you can play with; it can relieve stress, make you competitive or just beat your boredom. A few years back I became so engrossed in Candy Crush that I would play every break time I had at work. It became so popular that even celebrities would buy virtual goods to move to a higher level. Hobbies and games are the same in a way that it fills up your spare time, makes you excited and definitely makes a person enjoy life as it is. I have so many hobbies of my own like cooking, calligraphy, photography, gardening, watching movies and, of course, baking with my daughter Ruthie, but I make my hobbies and online games balanced with my life and work.

Until now, online games still amaze me, especially those mind-blowing games like Word Tetris, Four Pics 1 Word and Wordscapes which stimulates my mind so much. From time to time I visit new sites that offer new exciting games, especially when the pandemic hits the globe and makes us sad whenever someone we love passes away. Playing games brings us respite from feeling lonely like the games I chanced upon on Plays.org, I played some Arcade classics like Tetra Blocks, and my kid played the educational game Zombie Typing where you have to fight off waves of zombies by correctly typing words, so if you miss one word, they will quickly come to you. The game made him jump in his seat and made him type as fast as he could.

Just now I tried a very intriguing game because it’s what every person talk about now but not the scary virus but an enjoyable game, The Fight Virus COVID-19 Hospital Simulation Game, a hospital simulation game where the player should disinfect every place where the virus goes to. The virus should be eliminated, so it will not spread. I really enjoyed it how the virus would suddenly appear one by one, and I would have to disinfect all of them. You have to be alert and fast, so you won’t reach the 70% infection rate, or the game will be over hahaha. It feels like a kid for a time being.

That’s what games can do to a person, you’ll feel young again. I promised myself to try out some new games again if I have more free times, so I will forever feel young and excited. Try it, guys, you’ll love it.

Stay Cool This Summer With Your Own Pool

Everyone enjoys spending a little bit of time outside now that Old Man Winter has packed his belongings and headed back to the North Pole. The hot summer months are now quickly approaching and there is no better way to keep cool than by taking a nice dip in a pool. Swimming is great fun for the summer and it is something that the entire family can enjoy as long as you have a swimming pool.

What Do You Do If You Don't Have a Pool?

There are all sorts of things you can do. You could join the local YMCA and enjoy swimming year round in their pool, but you would not have the benefit of taking a late night soak if you felt the urge arise. You could always go for a swim in a local pond, stream or river, but who knows what is laying underneath the water just waiting for you to jump in. This doesn't leave you very many choices does it?

It looks like you may need to get a pool installed. You don't have to get an in ground pool either. There are plenty of people who prefer above ground pools in Ohio. The cost savings alone are usually enough to convince most people that the above ground pool is the right choice, and luckily there are plenty of companies who specialize in this sort of thing.

Now you can take a midnight swim if you want and float around as you stare at the twinkling stars above. This can be a great way to relax and unwind after a very hard day or week at the old office. Find out for yourself why everyone else really seems to enjoy swimming in their above ground pools. There is nothing like owning your own pool!

Summer Recreation

The kids are enjoying their summer vacation even on a hot weather like this. They’re alternately studying and practicing piano lessons, having online activities for recreation and playing board games. The little boy is asking where can we find yoyo store that will give him enough choices for his preferred style. He loves playing it with his elder sister and told me that he wants to learn exhibition styles. He has collection of some sorts but those are just simple styles I bought from various stores I dropped by on my way going home. They’re not branded and not expensive so I want to give him some stylish and quality yoyo for his collection.

Powerful Reception

image
Watching TV is a nice relaxation especially if you’re tired from working all day in your office. It’s also a way on how you can be closer and bonded to your family particularly on weekends when all of you are free from work and school activities. But you can only watching movies or shows on TV if you have good signals or pictures because if not you’ll be stressed with your TV trouble.

I’m glad to find out that there’s solution for this because if our cable passed out when there’s heavy rain and wind we can get one of those antennas for digital tv for a more powerful reception of channels. You can choose from indoor or outdoor antennas for your specific needs of reception. With this kind of antenna you’ll never be worried for heavy rain or snow

TBS - Skyhigh

This is a good and inviting review with an exciting introduction about having an adventure. It feels like I’m also going on an adventure riding in Sedona hot air balloon. It must be so exciting to have an adventure vacation riding those balloons. It’s something that you want to do once or twice in your life to escape the sometimes boring routine of everyday life.

:Mommy Moments - Summer Days Are Here!

mommy moments

As school classes is just about to end we still haven't been to any resort. Next week we'll go to Villa Dominga Forest Resort where we'll have our regular summer camp meeting and possibly a splashing afternoon in the resort before we go home. We sleep in the tent which makes it more exciting.

Some shots I have here was our swimming in Brgy. Pansol's Villa Ruby Rosa in Calamba, Laguna where we regularly spend our summer swimming for the whole church. We rent the whole resvilla to our group only and cook our meals here good for around 14 families. We started going there at dawn and go home before it's dark. There are only two pools here, one for the kids and for the adults but it's good enough for us. Kids just go out of the pool when they're hungry lol!

:PH#184: Tied (Air Balloon Ride)

I've chosen this pic for this week's theme Tied. This balloon ride caught my attention as I stopped by for sometime to see how they TIED the air balloons to its mechanical equipment to make it a fun ride. I was actually assessing the safety of the tying and the equipment and asking myself if I'm brave enough to ride in one of those tempting air balloons. The result? Of course I didn't! I'm afraid of height :-) and if there is one thing that I'm afraid is riding on those things that are too high and risky. Well for me it is even if EC has the strictest standards!

:PH# 182: Sports (Race Driving)

Click the images for large viewing

This is the Junior Kart-Trak sports located in Enchanted Kingdom. I had the chance to take a shot while there's a couple who was currently taking the drive. The girl was screaming at the spped they're having. Now we didn't ride as Josh is still very young for that. We just watched as teenagers enjoyed the ride in race driving. It looked fun and thrilling to me. I would have loved riding it if hubby is with me. But for sure I'll scream lol!

Outdoor Relaxation

On a sunny and warm afternoon it’s nice to go outside your house and spent the lazy afternoon lounging in your favorite chair. Sometimes you just want to rest, relax and read something that interests you. Others find it worth their while if they spend a good weather afternoon with a picnic in their backyard or garden.

Having something to share with your family is something to look forward to. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a barbeque picnic or just plain snacks with chips. As for me if I’m to be given plenty of time I’d like to spend my day on a place near the beach or if it wouldn’t be possible a cozy lounging in outdoor pillows by the pool will do. A swimming resort can also be a respite from all the pressures of hectic life. Yes a day on a resort be it a beach or just a simple resort with swimming pool can bring lots of relaxation for me.

TV Relaxation

After an exhausting day at the office and even tiring travel going back home I find it hard to eat as soon as I reached home much less do some blogging. Well I’m just too worn out after whole day’s work to do anything right away so I just spent time with my kids helping them with their school assignments.

After making sure they’ve done all required projects and assignments I prepare the table for dinner. It was a daily task for me and after all these things I will make sure that I relax myself by watching cable movies on our tv. For me it’s one of the most relaxing moments especially when you’re watching light comedy shows or inspirational theme movies. Glad I bought a bigger television two years ago which gave us a better viewing experience.

Scuba Diving Lessons

Many people want to explore the underwater world because of its mystery and breathtaking beauty. I myself always wanted to see films and documentaries about coral reefs, various species living in the underwater and the overall beauty that lies beneath the ocean. If you want to see for yourself the actual underwater you’ll have to learn scuba diving lessons to prepare yourself with the skills and knowledge needed for diving.

A friend who recently got interested in scuba diving wanted to enroll in a course specifically catering to amateur divers. This interest lead to me to search for scuba diving lessons Arizona
which I found very engaging. Their lesson starts not in the open water itself but on their own indoor heated pool. Ultimate Dive and Travel’s site discussed the three simple steps in starting the Open Water Diver Course which consists of academic training, confined water skills training and lastly the Open Water certification in the open water certification for open water environment.

If you’re interested enough and really gearing up to do some scuba diving you can search the net for Ultimate Dive and Travel and be one of those people who enrolled in scuba diving lessons Scottsdale. There they can teach you with the things and skills necessary like how much weight can you get or knowing the contents of spare kit and many techniques and rules on diving underneath. There are many courses available and you can easily check their calendar online. Rest assured they have all you need for your gear and equipment requirements at a competitive price. Visit their site and choose from among their selection of classes and courses package.
