New York, “the Big Apple,” is without question one of the most exciting cities in the world. New York has long been a major center for the arts and for American and global culture, which is why so many people come to visit this city on a regular basis. There are so many exciting things to see and do here, it’s impossible to take in all in in just one visit. From the fine dining to the museums to the big shows, New York is really a city like no other, anywhere.

Arts and Culture

The major museums in New York are incredibly exciting. They include the Museum of Modern Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as the Guggenheim and The Whitney. There are also countless galleries to be seen in New York, both uptown and downtown in Soho and the Village and Tribeca. New York can be toured by riding the subways, Uber and also by walking. It’s one of the great walking cities in the world, and there are so many great restaurants here, they can be enjoyed while seeing the city on foot.

Taking in the Shows

New York, with its Broadway and downtown, off-Broadway shows and ny cabaret scene, is a great city for seeing live entertainment, onstage. Of course the Broadway scene here is legendary, with many great stars appearing on any number of incredible theaters here on any given night. The cabaret scene is a very exciting alternative to Broadway, too, as these shows are generally performed in smaller cafes that allow patrons to see great singers and comedians up close, while also enjoying food and drink. Some cabaret shows also go on to become major Broadway shows, so taking in a cabaret show here may give you a preview of a great show before it takes off in a big way.

There’s no doubt that a visit to New York city will give you one of the most exciting trips you could ever experience. While it’s wise to plan and get tickets in advance, it’s also great to leave some time open so you can be spontaneous if you some great attractions that capture your fancy while you are visiting the city.

This perfectly designed movie pit is just right for movie viewing at home. Watching TV is a nice relaxation especially if you’re tired from working all day in your office. It’s also a way on how you can be closer and bonded to your family particularly on weekends when all of you are free from work and school activities. But you can only watching movies or shows on TV if you have good signals or pictures because if not you’ll be stressed with your TV trouble.

I’m glad to find out that there’s solution for this because if our cable passed out when there’s heavy rain and wind we can get one of those antennas for digital tv for a more powerful reception of channels. Relaxing Day for My Auntie

I’ve been searching through entertainment tickets for my Auntie because she wanted to relax and had a break from her work. She’s managing a Care Home for the Elderly and lately she’s not taking even a single day off. She asked me to search for a sports ticket or even lady gaga tickets for her and friends who might get some time off also from their work. I was glad that she’ll be relaxing now and want to have some fun after months of continuous working without day off. Anyway she’s the manager and she deserves it.

Discipline on Computer Gaming

DH vacation helped me in putting more discipline to the kids regarding their usage of their computer. We still didn’t have playstation 3 and we’re not planning to buy that yet so we can control the kids more. When my sister and I purchase our notebook and laptop she gave her desktop computer to my 3 kids and hubby will have exclusive use of our other personal computer.

Of course the kids were so happy that they have their own PC aside from the other extra PC but we explained to them that they can’t use them whenever they wish because playing games should have limited time only. Discipline should be imposed on our kids or else when school opens up in the coming days they will have a hard time returning to their study habits. Habits are known to be hard to break that’s why we’re not going to make it their habits.

Space Saving Entertainment Center

The little boy has accidentally dropped our DVD player and the TV tuner was loosened also. I have with me two appliances for repair though the TV can still do with cable channels to my kids’ delight. Well the little boy is sad because he’s the one who is using the DVD often so we just let him watch movies on the other desktop computer. He’s happy enough now that he can have the other desktop all day before his siblings came home. It’s my sister’s PC and she only uses it at night. Now I’m searching for new cabinet style entertainment centers so I can place our TV, DVD and components in one place with enough protection and free from accident. I can also add up storage for my compact disc.

It’s very important to me to have a safe place for all the video and audio appliances in the house and it’s a space saver too if I can have the cabinet type. I just wish that my little boy wouldn’t be so hyperactive in playing so I will not have headaches in appliance repairs.

Always Have Clear Copies

As we passed by a store that sells DVD movies Josh urged me to buy one for him. I didn’t say no to him but told him ‘later’ as I’ve had an experience with buying DVD’s with that store. The movie has no sound and the copy is not clear. I can understand sometimes those people who prefer the original ones as the copies are really clear and you have a peace of mind that you’re buying the original and not just copies. And speaking of very precise and clear copies my hubby told me to buy bluray disc player and disc to get my desired clarity. He’s right and I’ll take his advice.
