Live with Better Vision Through Lasik Surgery

I always dream of having my 20/20 vision back again which was lost when my vision blurred because of some reading habits that brought too much pressure on my eyes. I was a student when I first had my eyeglasses and I wear it at all times because my doctor advised me that wearing them can prevent further blurring of vision. Now when I recalled about it I realized that I spent half of my life wearing eyeglasses and I still prefer it than contact lens. I like contact lens because it will free me from eyeglasses that seem to make anyone look old but I’m comfortable with my eyeglasses. It’s just that I wish I could have a better vision so I can play my favorite sports and be able to see far objects clearly.

When my Mom was operated on her cataract I get to see her doctor more often and learned that Lasik Surgery is now available. In fact there are various clinics like Lasik Surgery Boston who provides this kind of service. They offer iLASIK procedure to their customers who have eye problems like nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. It’s just a quick and painless operation procedure that will return your vision into its former clarity. You can attain 20/20 or better vision right after the procedure. This procedure is guaranteed safe but not applicable to other eye problems like cataract, glaucoma and some others.

Modern technology innovations has successfully reached the eye science and I was one of the people who are very happy to know that I can be cured from my nearsightedness and live a better life with clearer vision.

Wonders of Lasik Surgery

My sis and I are both wearing eyeglasses but it’s me who wears them since college. She’s luckier as she only has astigmatism and now she finds it comfortable to wear contact lens rather than eyeglasses. We’re completely different as I find it hard wearing them and removing them when you fall asleep when you’re in travel and cleaning them at night. Oh well maybe there’s a kind that’s very easy to use but now I prefer to wear eyeglasses as I don’t feel uncomfortable with it. I think wearing them for several years now makes me get accustomed to it. Lucky for me as other people really has a hard time with wearing eyeglasses, some even said that it would make you look older. Just don’t care about it as being young for me is within your heart.

Anyway even if I’m accustomed to my nearsightedness problem I sometimes find it hard dealing with some of its disadvantages like wearing eyeglasses when I’m playing some of my favorite sports or you always need to wear them when you’re looking from afar. I envy those people who have a 20/20 vision as they can do everything they want without fear of getting blurred vision. When I accompanied Mom to her eye specialist for her cataract operation I learned about the latest innovation in eye problem and that’s the treatment of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism through lasik eye surgery which is being used nowadays.

There are clinics who do this kind of procedure like Lasik Surgery Boston which provides services for an all-laser lasik procedure to correct the exact vision needs of your eyes. This is where modern technology and science helps human as the results are just amazing. I couldn’t find a much better word than that because it’s really amazing. Imagine getting the chance to having a 20/20 or better eye vision again! I would certainly love that! That’s the perfect solution for those people with eye problems on blurred vision. Need not worry about the procedure as its safe, painless and quick.

Eye Surgery

My mom suddenly lost her sight last week. She has a cataract since last year but decided not to undergo an operation for fear that it might get worse. She told us that since she still has her left eye it would suffice her on her old days. We still convince her to have her cataract removed but the occurrence last March 23 finally made her stronger to face her impending eye surgery.

The eye specialist at River Valley Eye Center told us that something happened in her retina nerve causing her to lose her sight totally and he suggested that we concentrate on the eye with cataract. He recommended few laboratory tests and we’re so happy that Mom is cleared of any sickness and her results were all good. We’ll just have to inform the doctor’s staff for operation schedule. We know God will help her in her operation.

Lasik Eye Surgery

Since college I was using eyeglasses after I was diagnosed that I have nearsightedness problem in my eyes. Thus, I learned to live a life with eyeglasses as my partner wherever I go, it’s the most important thing I carry on my bag, without it I feel lost. When I was in college I always choose outdoor sports for my Physical Education subject. Have you ever played volleyball with glasses on? I did! I played softball, volleyball, table tennis, bowling and many other sports with my eyeglasses on and I carried it gracefully. I thought then that I could give my best in whatever sport I choose even if I don’t have perfect vision, it depends on the person how you carry your insufficiency, and well I carried mine bravely. Anyway nearsightedness is very common among students because of so many reasons, I think I had it because I like reading so much that even if it gets dark I’ll still continue reading up to my bedtime. After I saw white clouds slowly creeping in my vision I knew then that I overuse my eyes. Until now I wear eyeglasses because I’m not that comfortable with contact lens and I don’t have much time to do the regimen of wearing contacts.

Now you don’t have to suffer from my own experiences if you’re nearsighted or farsighted because science is always coming up with new innovative technology to cure sickness like this. I’ve found docshop.com, a website for information about health care procedures and technologies. In this website you can explore many things about patient education, medical information, reputable specialist in your area and everything about laser eye surgery which is very popular now in the field of medicine. This is really an informative site, so for all those people with eye problem please visit DocShop.com and experience the safest and most accurate form of treatment ever.
