What Matters Most in Life

It’s summer once again and the whole country is experiencing the heat of the season with high temperature and humid weather. People are now always looking for summer getaway that will give them momentary respite from the crowded city and hot weather. Our family took to the mountain sites and stayed for two days at an aqua farm beside the mountain river surrounded by beautiful stones. There at the mountains the weather is so nice and the air is fresh and clean. Being at the top of the mountain makes you realize the beautiful creations of God. Our vacation felt like a dream.

Coming back to our home I’ve been thinking of the place we’ve been and how it relaxed us. We plan to go there again whenever we have time so we can recharge physically, mentally and spiritually, that way we can also have a work life balance. We should not only work and work as if our life depends only on that.  We should have a real life outside our corporate world. We should also think of our health. I'm planning to focus on my health and shed some pounds to be able to regain a slimmer body again. I’ve read some articles online about  weight loss and I was inspired again to start anew.

Early this year I focused on my health wellness and started my knee therapy but after nine sessions I got busy with work and stopped suddenly because we have weekly seminars and training in the office. Gladly, with the help of browsing some sites I had few tips and ideas on healthy diets that I started focusing again on being healthy and fit. Health is wealth and I want to be wealthy :-).

Now when we’re at home and couldn’t find the time to go on a vacation we keep ourselves happy with planning a picnic at home, grilling some meat and feeling as if we’re in the rural areas. Sometimes we go to sports center and play bowling, basketball, badminton or visit arcades to play some nice games. We enjoy everything as a family and we compete with each other on those games just like when we indulge in online games, just like when I play Tap Supermarket which I enjoy very much because it’s like I’m just playing my dream. I plan to have a mini grocery store when I retire and the game simulates my dream. The game lets you manage a store where you need to restock your products, attend to customer’s needs and expanding your profits by selling more varieties.

Games are for everyone, young and old alike, it’s a form of relaxation and you just have to handle it wisely especially if you have little kids who seem to want to play unstoppable. At the end of a hard day at school and in work, I believe that one or two games whether it’s real or just online can help someone to be free of stress and anxieties. At culinaryschools.org they offer variety of kids’ games that can be played not just by kids but for adults as well. One can live a well-balanced happy life as long as you aware what can make you happy. What matters most is being happy, healthy and at peace with God as the center of your life.

Tips for Planning a Multi-Generational Vacation

When you’re planning a vacation that includes your immediate family and extended family, balance is the key to success. If you’re the coordinator of the vacation, you’ll have the responsibility of finding accommodations and activities that will satisfy the group.

Deciding on a Location

If the family members that will be included in your vacation adventure live in different areas, you’ll need to determine how far everyone is willing to travel and what type of area they want to vacation in. Once you make this determination you can proceed with the process of securing reservations and planning an itinerary.

Accommodations

The place you’re staying at will be home base for everyone. Make a list of the people who will be going on the vacation. If certain family members require specific accommodations due to physical limitations, be sure to note that. Remember that this group of people are not accustomed to spending time together. If you’re interested in securing a vacation house through north carolina coast rentals, your vacation can get off to a good start if the house you rent is large enough for the number of people that will be sharing it. A cramped vacation home can negatively impact the entire vacation experience.

Activities

If your vacation group includes kids, teens, adults and seniors, you’ll need to be sure that the area you’re vacationing in has activities that all age levels can enjoy. You may want to devise a schedule so that child care responsibilities are shared giving parents the opportunity to enjoy some time together without the kids.

Meals

A multi-generational vacation can offer everyone the opportunity to enjoy family time together. Designating certain meal times as family time is a great way for everyone to get together, share memoires and catch up on family news. Food preparation and clean-up should be a shared activity.

Pre-planning can take away the stress that can accompany a multi-family vacation. You want to do all you can to assure many happy memories are made on this vacation.

The Perks of Having the Right Family Car

Sponsored Post

We spend most of our holidays and summer breaks on faraway places for our vacation and church camp meetings. Thus, it’s important that we have our own car to travel in comfort and safety. We have three big kids and going to different places is not that easy if you only commute through public vehicles. Sometimes we venture on places where public vehicles are not available so it’s really vital. Nowadays having a car is not a luxury but a necessity especially if your family is big like us as we travel not only with the kids but with my younger sister and my Mom.

We had two cars in the past which are slightly small for us so for our third one we bought a big pickup with camper shell to accommodate more people and baggage too. We love our Mazda pickup which we fondly called Mazy because we were able to go to a lot of beautiful places without worrying about our heavy baggage. We were able to share it also to our church mates who don’t have cars of their own. Now that our Mazy is getting old and showing some signs of mechanic issues we’re thinking of buying a new one.

Finding the perfect car for the family is never a problem with cars.com  where you can browse over branded cars and search for whatever type of car you need. They offer all car brands with complete specifications and features so you can decide which will fit your specific car requirements. I just visited the site now and discovered that they also offer used cars which are more affordable for those who don’t have funds for the new models. Hope that we can buy our new car soon also just in time for the school break.

Travel, Vacation and Homestay

We love traveling and staying on some place to have vacation and enjoy some days off from work. If we want to have a family vacation we plan ahead of time say at least several months or a year to complete our budget for hotel, transport and food. Well if you really want to enjoy your life you must refrain from working all year round, at least spare a week or two for a family bonding vacation.

Since the cost of staying in hotels is very expensive we should consider some options in order to cut expenses and enjoy more days of stay without spending too much. One of these options is homestay where you will stay in private homeowners’ place for a couple of days, weeks or even months. Compared to hotels they offer cheaper rates everyone can afford.

As they’re private individuals they provide varied setups and accommodations depending on their resources. Some offer room with meals and internet connection just like hotels. Oftentimes it feels more comfortable staying on private homes as they have personal dealings with clients and has some other services as well.

This is not only advisable for travelers and vacationers but for students also. When you want to study abroad and can’t afford staying on expensive hotels and dormitories you can search for homestay that will not only give you nice shelter and good accommodation but fit your budgetary allowance as well. Staying on these affordable private homes will give your vacation, travel and study a relaxing thought to ponder upon. In many countries now homestay has become the most widely sought accommodation for guests and students.

So if you are a student or a guest and you need to find a place to stay you can search for homestay host that can provide place and services. Homestayin.com accept homestay host and offers advertisements for guests in Asian countries like Korea, China and Japan. Private homeowners need not worry about paying big commission to agents and guests will have an easy way of looking for good homestay with the help of Homestayin. For guests from other parts of the globe like America, Europe and Oceania they provide and carry out marketing activities for them.

Preparation of Family Needs for Vacation

I wish I have more time to sort out my things to decide what to wear on our incoming vacation. I listed out all things to prepare one by one by categories of clothes, toiletries, foodies, gadgets, accessories and some other needs. I had it done in table form with my family members for each column listing what they need to bring in details. Since my kids learned early in life how to pack clothes they know now what they should wear on fellowship and how many should they bring including extras for unexpected mishap.

I instructed my daughters specifically not to forget their delicate essentials. I told them to bring more than what they would need for 5 days just in case we extend another day. While we’re sorting out our things they asked if I should bring Sexy Panties they saw on commercial ads and I laughed as I’m not that fond of wearing such things except when I’m still single. Anyway I’m positive that even though I’m so busy I can find time to finally pick my needed clothes and pack them before we go two days from now. I’m just busy as a bee for now and I’ll just do it at dawn so I’ll be relaxed in thinking that I’m ready for our vacation.

Shopping Tidbits for the Family

We’ve done with our shopping for our fellowship vacation needs in Baguio except for some tidbits. I’ve only bought clothes for the kids because I didn’t want to shop when I’m bigger than I was. I will shop for new clothes when I’m done with shedding some pounds and that will be on summer…maybe. Anyway there are some school essentials that need to be included also like gifts for the classmates and friends of my kids.

I also included little gifts for the patient teachers who guided my kids throughout their learning period. While shopping I saw some ultimate looks wigs that can be used for parties with costume. Even though it’s my birth month and it will fall 4 days before Christmas I really don’t mind skipping shopping because I need to save my funds for our forthcoming vacation. I know it will be all worth all my frugal ways.

Preparation for December Fellowship and Family Vacation

The youth in our church are gearing up for our camp meeting and as early as now they’re assigning tasks per group. They’re also searching for new songs for choir presentation as they seem to present familiar songs always. As the fellowship is coming near they noticed that they need to replace some microphones for better voice quality. Someone suggested a quality one to last for long period usage and for this they want to buy boom mic to accommodate and harmonize with drum and amplifier as well.

Early planning and preparation is very important so we can have a fruitful and fulfilling fellowship come December. High quality musical instruments and accessories are also a good contribution for a successful occasions thus it should always be checked and noted for repair or replacement. Since we’re having it in Baguio this time maybe we’ll have some adjustments to make. We’re all excited for the coming fellowship vacation.

How to Choose an Extended Stay

When you’re in the middle of a move, your home is undergoing renovation, or you’re traveling in a city for a long period of time, you might consider an extended stay in Lubbock, TX. An extended stay apartment is a cross between a studio apartment and a hotel room. There are laundry facilities and a kitchen in the building, and you can take advantage of hotel security and maid services. Plus, you may get Wi-Fi and access to swimming pools and fitness centers. In short, it’s a large, homey hotel room.

What You Need and Want
To decide on which extended stay hotel to visit, you must first consider your wants and needs. How long do you intend to stay there? What is your price range? Do you need to rent a car when you’re staying in the city? Where would you prefer to be located? What amenities do you seek? Are swimming pools and workout centers a must? Would you like a voicemail service? How many bedrooms do you need? Are you bringing a pet with you? Make sure you make these considerations so you can narrow down your list to the appropriate hotel.

Process of Choosing

Now it’s time to explore your options. Go online and search through popular brands and chains of hotels. Browse their websites to see what an extended stay entails. Various hotels have different ideas of what an “extended stay” means. Some hotels will allow you to remain there for less than a week. Other hotels believe that time should be longer to qualify as an extended stay. Most chains will tell you that 2 weeks or longer equates to an  extended stay in Lubbock, TX

Remember to explore the features of the hotel and see what spaces and amenities are available to you within your price range. Take into account all expenses to know what each stay at a certain hotel would cost you. Then call or meet with hotel personnel to negotiate rates. Remember that you should get a special price if you’re doing an extended stay, particularly if you are part of a major company or a corporation. When you check out, look over the bill to see that you were charged the rate you agreed on.

Protective Gears on Our Vacation

With our forthcoming church camp meeting fellowship on December we need some warm clothes if we’re going to have prayer warrior activities in the camp site garden. We decided not to go to Baguio this December and instead in the hill areas in the town next to us. Last year we had our vacation fellowship in Baguio with all of our 70 church members. We experienced real cold temperature there and it’s good that I followed the advice of my friend to bring along thick coats or we’ll be chilling our way to the park at night. It will also be great to have those north face down coats I saw recently because it can really prevent cold from seeping through your skin.

It’s not enough to have the cardigans because you’ll have to go home before the night strikes as the cold breeze is so much to handle. Well I’m really not that strong when it comes to cold weather but I saw all my church mates were also biting their teeth when we stayed late at Burnham park so I’m sure I’m not the only one who felt the strong cold weather. Still we enjoyed our super cool vacation in Baguio and hope to go back there next summer.

Relaxing Outdoor Activities

When we had a vacation in the summer capital we visited all the known places there and lingered on the park more than any other places. It’s where the kids had some real fun times because they did some biking and boating which they can’t do often when we’re in our home. As expected they didn’t want to stop not until they’ve seen that it’s getting darker and felt the cold breeze in their skins. Still they have more capabilities to withstand cold, at least better than I was. Even when I’m dressed in full protective gear against cold I was not able to ignore the freezing weather.

When one of our friend tried riding on a horse my little boy asked me if they have to wear riding apparel like rj classics with matching riding boots and all. He has this idea that one should be dressed properly to be able to ride the horse in the park. Well any rider should have protective gear also but if they will only ride for half an hour with the complete assistance of staff maybe it will not be required. All in all our vacation proved to be so relaxing, happy and the whole family has bonded a lot.

Short Weekend Vacation

We had our weekend vacation near the mountains where my MIL lives. Montalban is just a one hour drive to the city but you could feel the difference of the weather once you reached it. After dinner we would go out of the house and take a casual walk or have a nice chat in the garden because it’s very relaxing there. You would feel the cold breeze on your face giving you the impression that it’s not summer there. Anyway we didn’t bring any swimming clothes and planned another weekend getaway just for swimming in one of the resorts there. The kids enjoyed our stay that they want to plan a vacation again.

Early Preparations

We've started packing up clothes and things for our fellowship vacation in Baguio. I've arranged the little boy's things in his own traveling bag and he excitedly watched me while I choose which clothes he will bring. For my big girls I told them how many they should bring including extras should we decide to stay longer then they showed me and told me that they will arrange it themselves.

When they grew older I began to feel lighter whenever when we're expecting long journey because they can fix their own things. They just need me to approve what they want to bring and assure them that they've packed enough clothes and they're fine already. I even had an easy time with DH as he has packed earlier than us. He's a light traveler and I always envy how he manage to pack just the necessary things and he did it very fast this time.  Well we're 5 days ahead of our travel day and it feels good that I'll not be rushing next week. Really excited!

Holiday Vacation Villas

It’s summer vacation here in our part of the globe and most of my friends are spending their holidays either here or abroad. They have planned in advance at least 4 months before the intended holiday because they want to be assured of a good price deal in their vacation bookings. I would also love to spend some few days off my work to enjoy vacation with my family but I was offered a new job and I’m working on it now. Now with the current part-time office job I have and the online writing I’m engage in I can’t fit a real vacation for my family. Anyway I just talked to my SIL last week and she told me about their dream holiday vacation in one of the beautiful beach resorts in Mexico and stayed in Cottages during their vacation.

They stayed in hotel on the first part of their stay then decided to hire cottages for a more convenient and flexible accommodation. It’s her first time to hire cottages direct from the owners and she finds them very accommodating. She told me that she has managed to request for some friends who visited them to stay for a night and she’s happy to have an internet connection there. She has had many vacation experiences in the past having vacation in Europe, Egypt, Asia and in some other popular places but she never experienced renting cottages from the owners themselves. It was quite an enjoyable experience for her and is now thinking of booking in Turkey villas next year. She liked the idea of direct booking and it’s so flexible with the busy life she has.

With direct booking to owners she can deal with them directly if there are changes in her schedule and she’ll have no problem with asking for some petty requests. Also it’s more affordable to her budget because it has no agent fees. She can bring the whole family and some of her close friends and hire a villa which can accommodate them all. There are plenty of beautiful villas, apartments and holiday rentals available for all her vacation needs. She likes having grand vacation because she’s a workaholic and it’s only on vacation that she can really rest and be free from the stress of daily life. It’s good to get away from your usual environment and see beautiful places, learn other country’s culture, get to meet other people and spend some days relaxing and enjoying the beauty of life.

Magical Walt Disney Tours

It has been my dreams to take a week –long vacation with my family to a place where we can rest the whole period of our stay and at the same time enjoy the sceneries and whatever activities we might do as well. Of course as a beach person I prefer staying in villas near the shore or somewhere just a walk away from the beachfront. My husband and my kids also love being on the beach on our few short vacations domestically but they also have other interest for private tours  from the one I’m envisioning for the whole family. Aside from the beach and other scenic places they would want to visit Walt Disney in the future.

The kids love amusement and theme parks but I only had the chance to bring them here in our country in EK theme park and from the look on their faces I can imagine what they would feel if they can go to one of the Walt Disney tours  offered by Michael’s VIPs. We all know that such tours are fun and exciting but to see all the attractions and shows you will have to wait in lines for long period of time during the busiest times and thickest of crowds. Your vacation will not be as enjoyable when you’re exhausted from waiting and standing.

Well if you let Michael’s VIPs take over the plans for your family vacation in Walt Disney World Resort  you can expect an unforgettable and beneficial vacation ever without juggling the lines, rides and restaurants. You don’t have to run for fast passes and no more constant looking and consulting at the maps, you’ll be amazed that you’ll get at your favorite shows and rides at no time at all. Your vacation will be as magical as Walt Disney.

Caribbean All Inclusive Vacation

I’ve been talking to an old friend from school and she has just come back from her dream vacation in the Caribbean, she has wanted to go there ever since she started working. She’s now living in the States and she took some days from her vacation leave to spend an extended weekend on a caribbean all inclusive vacation.

When I saw her pictures I noticed that it gave her a rosy glow on her cheeks. She really loved the vacation and it was like a reward for her hard work throughout the years. It’s actually a treat from her hubby but she insisted on spending some of her money also.

Well it’s not as if others cannot afford to go, because Breezes Resorts offer a super inclusive Jamaica vacation where you can enjoy a complete package with accommodations, meals, drinks, snacks, entertainment and sports activities all in one. It seems so magical having your vacation spent there on the sundrenched beaches with white sand, the rich landscapes, waterfalls, springs and streams. It’s like a dream come true staying in one of the best Caribbean hotels in the area.

They make it possible for those who want to live their dream on the beautiful Jamaica islands. You can bring the whole family and let them enjoy their days doing their favorite sports activities. Anyway, just being there, basking in the sun and sea breezes, relaxing over some cold fruit drinks with a book in hand is enough to enjoy your vacation.

Direct Booking Holidays

Many of my friends are having their summer vacation as early as now to avoid the rush in booking and travel. Most of them bring their toddler kids with them and taking advantage of their young age when they have free privileges on travel and accommodations. And because they’re not schooling yet they don’t have to wait for the summer break to start their planned vacation. They’ve booked flights several months ago via super seat sale of the domestic airline and reserved for holiday cottages two months ago.

Well for us we only plan for provincial vacation where we’ll visit my Mom’s hometown and we’ll go to beach from there which is only a town away. Just thinking of our trip makes me long to see our close relatives in the town where my Mom grew as a child and where we live until I’m seven. My husband had our car repaired and it’s now ready for all our summer activities. I saw my SIL had her vacation also in Mexico and stayed in a beachfront hotel. You’ll get excited when you see her pictures in the resort and it’s obvious that she enjoyed every bit of her vacation. I suddenly remembered browsing through holiday rental villas in Furteventura where you could booked directly with the owner.

Booking directly gives you plenty of benefits and privileges like personal service where the owner can give you the history of the place and the best areas to go to. It’s also more affordable as you can hire villas for your family at lesser price cutting the cost for agent’s fees. It’s pure enjoyment and relaxation with flexible accommodations you’ll have to arrange with the owners like asking few privileges of having internet connection, having visitors on your vacation or some other favours. You can dine in or out whenever you like. This is a vacation that will cater to all your needs and wishes.

A Short Vacation in Our Hometown Province

It’s DH semestral break and he’s using up his vacation in general maintenance of the house and checking up Mazy, our car. He’s used to fast paced work in his former 19-year old job and he doesn’t waste any of his free time. We have plans of having vacation because he wants me to have some break from my busy schedule and online tasks but the kids are still in school. They will start having their school semestral break next week when DH would start schooling again. How I wish they have the same dates of school break so we’ll have a longer vacation.

We’re not going for an Outer Banks vacation rentals although I’m dreaming for that one several months back. We’re just planning a mini vacation in our hometown in Laguna so we and the kids will be able to rest and relax in the peaceful and fresh environment of our province. It’s also less than an hour away from Pacific Ocean so we can go to the beach easily if we want to. Hope we’ll still be able to make our plan a reality.

Exciting Theme Parks

Last year I accompanied my little boy to a famous amusement park in the south. He was so happy when he first saw the park and was excited to try all the rides there. He rode in the carousel, train, boulders and swan. He played at the tree house and followed the parade of the EK characters there. He was amazed at the beautiful rides even if it’s for adults only and really enjoyed the whole afternoon of fun. I was thinking how he’s going to handle his excitement if he’ll experience the likes of Orlando vacation packages with Magic Disney World, Seaworld, Universal Studios, museums and the whole fun of being in theme park. I know that will be one great vacation experience for him. Who knows I can save up enough money for that exciting vacation.

Few Days Rest from Work

These past few days had been such a blessing for me and my online friends as we’re given tons of tasks to do. These tasks made us very busy to the point that we’re making night as days also. We hardly had time to relax and sleep normally but we’re not sad about it, in fact we’re so happy because after these little sacrifices we’ll have our rewards. With the work that we’re doing we deserve some break maybe book a Branson vacation package or spend it on a beach vacation resort.

Whatever it is or wherever it may be just as long as we’ll have some time to rest, sleep normally and enjoy the nature without working on our PC. This coming semestral break my cousin was inviting us to spend few days in our hometown province. DH and I are thinking about it and comparing it on our Baguio vacation plans.

TBS - Skyhigh

This is a good and inviting review with an exciting introduction about having an adventure. It feels like I’m also going on an adventure riding in Sedona hot air balloon. It must be so exciting to have an adventure vacation riding those balloons. It’s something that you want to do once or twice in your life to escape the sometimes boring routine of everyday life.
