Summer Vacation Ideas

My little boy started his school break this week while the two girls will report to school up to next week to get their clearances. I’m now thinking of places where we can spend some days away from home to relax and have some fun. First thing on my mind is to visit our hometown and spend some days there then we’ll go to the nearest beach there which is only a town away. I’m also asking the husband if he has some vacation ideas that we can plan now that summer vacation has started. We just have to schedule it before the summer workshop of the kids or after one month of their classes. Classes usually last for one month and we can all plan to go where we want to go.

Hubby will have 2-day discipleship seminar in Baguio at the start of May and after that our schedule is more manageable. I know that many families now are planning their own vacation here in the country or abroad. Well maybe MyCitiesGuide.com can help you plan your own vacation with their Trip Planning Tool. They have collection of vacation ideas and travel destination guides that will assist you in whatever you need to know about destinations, restaurants, art galleries, entertainment center and a lot more. They can help you with the things you don’t know about what you should do before and after each destination and things like that. They can recommend where to go for exquisite dining or for some other vacation concerns. You can check them out now and see their featured vacation destinations.

Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome

I really have a lot to thank for with the kind of job I have. This morning I didn’t feel well enough to work on my tasks and to erase the feeling of unwell and lost of interest in working I joined the husband and the little boy. Hubby’s going to meet MIL for some errands and transaction and he asked Josh and me to accompany him. I gladly joined him to change my environment and felt good that I did because I’ve recovered my appetite and enthusiasm over things. We should be like that when we feel bad, not in the mood or feeling sick.

Well in the case of post viral fatigue some people just can’t seem to recover from illness effects like not feeling well, lost the drive to do any activity and just want to act like they’re still sick. I’ve never known this syndrome before but by reading tips and advices over the net I’ve come to realize that I may have suffered from it but lack of knowledge and information prohibited me from knowing the signs. I’m glad to note that postviralfatiguetips.com gave some advices, tips and possible cure on how to overcome post viral fatigue syndrome. With suggestions from them you or your family is on the way for complete recovery.

Photohunt #258: Cage(d)

This is a shot taken from Josh'  preparatory educational tour in Bioresearch, Parañaque. Philippines. It's hard to take a good shot of them as they were in a cage, I had to put the lens inside the wire to have a decent shot. Anyway I really love seeing parrots and their vivid colors which are usually green. You should hear them mimic your words, they're so talkative when you have them as pets in the house.

Setting Up Food Business

I’m preparing some plans for our summer business and I’m taking note of important details with products, suppliers and prospective customers. I’m actually looking forward to this plan of ours and I’m very positive with it. As of now I’m still making calls and looking for better rates. I asked help from my cousin who is living in our hometown province and hopefully she’ll find good suppliers there. She’s like an old sister to me and I’m glad she’s helping me out in my plans.

Someone asked me what kind of business will I enter this summer because she’s thinking if I’m into dealership of electronics or some products like hydraulic hose, construction equipment or the likes. I laughed at her inquiry because that’s too far on my planned business. I’m setting up on food delivery business, a small business only but I’m thinking of fruits, rice or cooking oil wholesale business. Whatever seems to be most feasible or profitable that’s where we begin. I pray that God will give me signs if this one is really for us because if it’s not His will I know we will be directed to other paths.

My Workout Regimen

I’m glad that I was able to return to my workout regimen yesterday after a two-week lapse. I was worried that I’ll go back to the first module but when I started it I was able to finish 5 sets and consumed 40 minutes. That’s way too good for someone who didn’t exercise for 2 weeks. I was on a one hour workout before I took a break and sometimes I go beyond the one-hour time I’ve put as my minimum workout time.

Anyway I’m happy enough and promised not to take a long break again because I know my health and physique will suffer from it. My cousin is taking some supplements while working out and he asked me this week if I’m taking the best pre workout supplements now that I’m also having a regular workout. I told him that I don’t need to take it because I don’t have plans of building my muscles. I only want a healthy and fit body. I don’t know with others but muscles are not for me. DH will not approve also.

The Best Food for Baby

I have been an advocate of breastfeeding after learning all about its benefits to both mother and baby, and after having experienced it myself. It is really true that breast milk is the best food for baby. My own baby was very healthy and never got sick and I attribute all of it to breast milk. There are even studies that suggest that breastfeeding helps increase a child’s IQ.

For six months, my child was exclusively breastfed and then I continued to breastfeed until he reached two years old. It also had a lot of perks for me. It was the easiest way to feed my baby too because I did not have to bring nor sterilize any bottles. Of course, it was also so much cheaper than buying formula milk. It also helped me lose weight faster after giving birth. I know that it is the best thing I could give my baby and I cherish my whole breastfeeding experience. Everyone is capable of breastfeeding, which is why I encourage everyone, even those who have had breast augmentation, to at least try it. I know that it is something that I would choose to do again if my husband and me decide to have another baby. How can I deny my baby of the best food?

Comfortable Bed for the Kids

The kids are finally sleeping now and I’m happy to see that they’re comfortable with their bed. We’re planning to buy a folding bed for them last December since they also have another room upstairs and they just wanted to sleep in the ground floor beside our room. When we saw how functional and beautiful the sofa bed is we immediately changed our plans and bought the bed even if the price is a little more expensive than the original plan we have. We know that it’s worth the price and the kids were so happy with it.

Next year we’re planning to add more cabinets and possibly change the queen size bed into the king size platform bed I saw online. I feel in love with the simple and elegant designs and thought of owning one from them too. I love searching for various kinds of beds because it’s where we rest our body from fatigue, stress and daily activities of our life. Here’s one kind I saw on the site.

Orthopaedic and Spine Care

I’ve got good news from a friend that she can now continue with her usual daily routine activities because she can walk again. She had met an accident few months ago and found it difficult to recover fast but through the help of good orthopaedic doctor, therapy and prayers she’s now fully recovered. For those who have such need for orthopaedic care it’s important to get the best in town like Virginia Beach Orthopedics which provides the best orthopaedic care with the help of outstanding medical professional and well trained personnel.

They have a full-service state-of-the art center with patient exam rooms, x-ray suites, Lunar DPX Bone Densitometer room, MRI center and physical therapy. They’re dedicated to provide treatment for those people having problems with musculosketal systems. We all know that it’s hard to suffer from Arthritis as what my Mom feels when she has it. I learned about this Hampton Roads Total Joint Replacement  where the hip and knee are the most common joint replacements and now with shoulders, ankle, elbow, hand and other joints also. This procedure is done for four days by well-trained, expert and skilled surgeons and found to produce positive feedback.

Well obviously with my Mom’s age it’s not for her as I think she’ll not be able to handle this kind of procedure and actually it’s not that bad for her as to replace her joints. But for others who really suffers much from joint pains and other knee problems it’s best to consult the experts like Orthopaedic & Spine Center where they can provide Yorktown Knee Surgery, spine care, shoulder care, ankle care and a lot more. They provide the quality care, healing and recovery for their patient with the best compassion and dedication.

What's My Lucky Charm

I tried answering this quiz about knowing my lucky charm because I was curious what it's all about. Well the answers made me see what kind of a person I am. Anyway these qualities below somehow reflects the real me and I can say it's 80% true. The fact about being unpredictable is not me as I always want to plan ahead of time taking the path that I know would make me happy rather than make me rich.

Here's the result of my quiz, you can try this too:

You Are Bamboo
You are a very independent and unpredictable person. You do things your way, and you never know what turn your life will take.
You are very intellectual and logical. You try to think things through carefully, in steps.

Sometimes it seems like you are unemotional, but you try to have your emotions work for you instead of against you.
Those who know you best know who loyal, compassionate, and supportive you are. You are a very admirable person.

Caribbean Hotels Vacation

The change of weather from cool to sunny warm temperatures, makes many kids sick with respiratory illnesses. It's normal right now to hear that this particular girl or boy has a cold, coughs or fever. So if your kids are in large schools it's important that you give them enough vitamins to protect them from the sicknesses that are going around. It's not fun being sick and besides, their schooling will be affected.

Now that there's only two weeks left before the school break, I encourage them not to forget to take their vitamins so they can start the vacation with full energy for whatever activities they have in mind. The whole 10 months of the school year is tiring, as my kids are studying in 3 different schools, and I definitely need a break. I've been dreaming of going to places like Negril Jamaica where I can rest my body and mind from routine duties of everyday life.

Now that Breezes Resorts offer super inclusive accommodations, many people will be able to afford accommodations in one of the beautiful places there like their Ocho Rios hotels and enjoy the sundrenched beaches, green jungles, blue Caribbean waters and the breathtaking view of the amazing scenery.

There are other Jamaica hotels offered by Breezes Resorts where you enjoy the same privileges as with their other hotels, especially their all inclusive packages which include all meals, drinks, entertainment, sports like river rafting, water climbing and horseback riding. Enjoy it with the whole family!

US Coins Investment

I’ve been collecting old coins since I was a kid. My Mom gave me my first old coin and told me that it’s precious to her. Upon realizing that it’s indeed precious because of the year indicated in the coin I started my own collection, not much I think because my busy schedule at work prevented me from continuing my collection. Now I’m seeing those us coins investment and I’m wondering when will I be able to invest even on few pieces of those coins. I heard that they’re good investment if you want something tangible and secured but it also cost a hefty amount. Well big capital equals big profit so there’s no problem.

Villa Rentals Mallorca

Just two more weeks and it’s school break for the kids and the start of summer vacation for all students. I’m always looking forward for this vacation as this is the only time that I can be with my kids all the time for two long months since they started schooling. It’s also my second summer off my office work. In my previous years I always want to take day off on summer days because I know that my kids were waiting for me the whole day. Now I don’t have to suffer the pain of longing for them because I’m now working at home.

My husband will also be on vacation starting next week and we’re planning now what we’ll do this summer. It’s actually our first time to be together all the time since my husband resigned from his work last year. It’s fun planning our days ahead because we’re all available now. Actually a weekend stay on one of the local destination resort here is enough for us to relax and enjoy just like the bliss of enjoying a family vacation in villa rentals Mallorca. It’s now becoming one of the best vacation destinations in Europe because of its tropical perfect beaches, beautiful coves, scuba diving coast and warm year-round temperature. It’s not only perfect in sightseeing activities but for some other sports activities as well.

You’ll have the convenience of talking and dealing with the owners and less hassles on scheduling your flight and transfers. There are no middlemen so the savings from their commission goes directly to you. Enjoy the country-style cottage rentals, farmhouse, apartment and villas accommodation in Mallorca with the whole family. You can also request some other things like bringing your pets or having some visitors in the villa during your vacation. I promised myself I would save some of my earnings to go to Mallorca some day.

:Today's Flowers #135: Petite Red Blooms

Pretty petite red blooms from a tree. I've found it near my kid's school and I just can't just pass without taking a shot.Yes it's a tree and not just a plant, we have this kind since I was a child but when the road was widened it was cut off to give way for the road. Sad :(
Anyway it's easy to plant it but we just can't regrow it now because of the space it requires, maybe someday.  For beautiful flowers around the world and red-themed photos just click at the badges above to view.

Richmond Sunrooms

I’ve always admire beautiful homes especially with nice exteriors that exude simple elegance. My brother is an engineer designer himself and I find his residential projects well above others because he gives his extra effort in monitoring the implementation of designs. His house reflects his inborn artistry and when his client sees it they began to understand why others want to hire him to build their dream homes. It is in this perspective that I came across Creative Energy which offers Home Improvement Richmond VA and give high quality improvement products with honesty, commitment and total dedication.

I particularly love the Richmond Sunrooms which can be customized to fit your requirements and at the same time give your home a new dimension. How I would love to have a splendid living area basking in an airy and spacious environment with great views of the outdoors. It saves energy too as you’ll have all the light you can get without using up electricity. Great value and savings on good investment plan.

Shenandoah Valley Farmland

Almost all of us want to have investment in life and they put their money on lands, jewelry and gold to ensure that someday they will reap the fruits of their investment. It’s normal for a person to think of investing on tangible things because he thinks that it’s one of the ways of preserving your money. I also want to invest my money on some small farmlands in my Mom’s hometown if ever I’ll have a chance to allot some funds for it. I want to invest in that town and who knows we might decide to live there so we can enjoy the peaceful living in the province where time seems to be slower than that of the city. I want to rest from the hustle and bustle of the city near us and take some time off to enjoy the beauty of the nature.

Anyway just like my MIL who is currently living in the town village where you can see a clear view of the mountains I also dreamt that someday we’ll be able to have a vacation house that we can go to every weekend to have a break from the everyday routine of our life here. So I’m wondering what it’s like to live in the valley or near it. My friend loves searching through lands in peaceful villages because he also wants to have a land that he can call his own when he grows old. I helped him with searching and found that Harrisonburg real estate  focus on selling land, farms and homes in the Shenandoah Valley. They offer help in finding out properties for sale in Harrisonburg Virginia and Shenandoah Valley by listing the most recent Shenandoah Valley lands, homes and farms up for sale. With property search and my home finder searching would be just as easy.

Legal Help to Car Accident Victims

For almost 7 years since we were blessed with a car through my kind brother we used it regularly on our church service, family’s outing, school occasions and a lot more. Riding in our own car and traveling in the nearest city to the farthest provinces every summer and December gave us a lot of experience on road travels. Now we are planning to use our own vehicle this coming December to travel several hours going to Baguio. We are planning to replace all tires and have all parts checked to avoid road disturbance and accident while traveling.

Some drivers don’t heed to rules in long distance travel that they end up being caught up in accident or car trouble. When they do this they risk their lives, their family’s welfare and their passengers. Plus they can also involve the safety of other cars running near your car. Well if you have a family whose been victimized by careless drivers you can get help from lawyers like Austin personal injury lawyer to file a case to get fair trial and compensation for the damage done to your loved ones. It’s not easy being hit because it sometimes paralyze the victim and cost him his life or his future so they better get compensation for medication and for starting a new life.

ProFlowers TV Code

I love flowers and I like receiving them from my husband who didn’t changed after 15 years of being married. He always gives me flowers on my birthdays, our anniversaries and some special occasions. I’m not that interested in expensive gifts from him and he knows that. I just love chocolates and roses up until now that we’re older. I guess only age changes but the real person in me stays the same, simple and romantic.

Well I’m also fond of giving flowers to my Mom, the most special woman in my life and I was thinking that it’s kinda sweet to order it online. Now that there’s ProFlowers TV code coupons to use when ordering flowers I can very well afford it. They have deals of the day where I found those lovely tulips at very low price.

PH 255: Self Portrait

It's seldom that I post my pic here, it's always my kids.  I'm always behind the camera following my kids and taking snapshots of them.  This was taken during our December camp meeting in Prayer Garden in Antipolo.  The exact spot is where they saw a big man at the top of the tree  smoking cigar so when my sister and I decided to take each other solo pics I told the invisible (during daytime) man that we're just there to take picture of their beautiful place.  Scary? Not so. Just always remember to say peace and mutter a prayer when you're in new place especially on serene and silent places like this one.

Accessories for the Girls

My cousin friend dropped by the house and asked about how we’re doing. We haven’t seen each other for two months and we’ve talked about lots of things. She also has two daughters like me and we shared experiences on how we’re coping up with their first years of adolescence period. Having growing up girls is not that easy as you’re balancing things up with them. You can’t be too hard or too soft on them as they will be either dependent or rebellious.

Anyway we also noted that we’ll be visiting our favorite accessory store again when we’re not so busy to buy nice little keepsakes for our girls like the bella bracelet I’ve seen online just now. Every time I see nice things for girls I always think of my own and promised myself that I would set one day for our date alone. It would be nice to bond with just the three of us Ruth, Gen and me.

Direct Booking Holidays

Many of my friends are having their summer vacation as early as now to avoid the rush in booking and travel. Most of them bring their toddler kids with them and taking advantage of their young age when they have free privileges on travel and accommodations. And because they’re not schooling yet they don’t have to wait for the summer break to start their planned vacation. They’ve booked flights several months ago via super seat sale of the domestic airline and reserved for holiday cottages two months ago.

Well for us we only plan for provincial vacation where we’ll visit my Mom’s hometown and we’ll go to beach from there which is only a town away. Just thinking of our trip makes me long to see our close relatives in the town where my Mom grew as a child and where we live until I’m seven. My husband had our car repaired and it’s now ready for all our summer activities. I saw my SIL had her vacation also in Mexico and stayed in a beachfront hotel. You’ll get excited when you see her pictures in the resort and it’s obvious that she enjoyed every bit of her vacation. I suddenly remembered browsing through holiday rental villas in Furteventura where you could booked directly with the owner.

Booking directly gives you plenty of benefits and privileges like personal service where the owner can give you the history of the place and the best areas to go to. It’s also more affordable as you can hire villas for your family at lesser price cutting the cost for agent’s fees. It’s pure enjoyment and relaxation with flexible accommodations you’ll have to arrange with the owners like asking few privileges of having internet connection, having visitors on your vacation or some other favours. You can dine in or out whenever you like. This is a vacation that will cater to all your needs and wishes.
