Gift for the Boss

My neighbor keeps on looking out for a gift for his foreign boss and he told me that he finally found one. He was relieved that he found some good deals at http://www.famous-smoke.com which cost him half of what he should be paying. He has prepared his budget for the occasion so there should be no problem but he’s just thankful that it didn’t cost him a lot. He’s looking forward for his boss’ arrival when he found out that he would be searching for other gifts as the boss just came from the hospital and was advised not to smoke to prevent recurrence of his sickness. Now my neighbor would have to find another gift again or just pretend that he didn’t know about his boss’ restrictions.

Gifts for Child Dedication

It’s payday today and I planned to come home earlier than usual as I find it necessary every payday. People tend to assess that every working human in this planet has plenty of money every payday and it’s a little bit dangerous to snatchers. Anyway as I will sponsor two babies in our church in our child dedication on Sunday I’ll have to really be early to have time for choosing gifts for them. I’ll be sponsoring or witnessing Ryza and Phillip’s dedication or in other religion they call it baptism.

It’s always easier for me to choose gifts for girls as I have two daughters. I’ve rounded up the babies’ section and twist and turn to every little cute items but I settled for Snoopy clothes for the baby boy and a little pink jumper dress for the baby girl. I’ll just have to think of accessories to complete the whole thing. Florence was with me and I must admit I really admired her patience for this. She bought blouse for Nicole, her 5-year old daughter and we exchanged ideas on the style and colors of the clothes we’ve chosen. After the gifts I transferred to other section and bought pants for Josh and pink blouses for my girls, it’s gonna be Ruth’s birthday on Monday and when I buy clothes for the celebrant I also buy clothes for my other two kids. It’s been my practice ever since that’s why they love having birthdays.

A Gift From Cous Megan

Gen was so happy when her Auntie Zeny and cousins Shan and Megan had a two-week vacation here in the Philippines. Her granny (Ed's Mom) was teasing and asking her if she had practiced her English because she would be needing them when they arrived. Gen was always our charming little girl who always cracks a joke about something but this time it’s us who’s joking about her coming cousins. The last time her cousins were here in the Philippines was 7 years ago and a lot of transformation happened since they saw each other; they were babies/toddlers then both 2 years old. Since 2 weeks has passed since Gen’s birthday Megan has prepared a gift for her and upon our first visit in their hotel Megan gave it to her and oh Gen was so happy, know why? It’s a Motorola Hot Pink cellophane W375, perfect for my little Gen. Though Ruth was older than Gen and ought to have a mobile first it’s ok for Ruth as her auntie promised to give her also on the next visit in a few months or one year I guess.
