Photohunt #258: Cage(d)

This is a shot taken from Josh'  preparatory educational tour in Bioresearch, Parañaque. Philippines. It's hard to take a good shot of them as they were in a cage, I had to put the lens inside the wire to have a decent shot. Anyway I really love seeing parrots and their vivid colors which are usually green. You should hear them mimic your words, they're so talkative when you have them as pets in the house.

Mommy Moments - Field Trips

mommy moments

Its kinda late when I saw the theme this week. It's actually my second time to join this because I'm always busy to prepare my pics for the theme! Well I'm late again now but I really want to join this week because I want the theme!

Here are some of my little boy's pics on their recent field trips (though I've posted some pics on my other blogs).

At Enchanted Kingdom where we stayed longEntranceWith EK CharactersAt the Carousel with tantalizing eyes :-)Following Ek Characters parade and show
At Bumbling Boulders

Actually I have more pics because I shot at every stop but it will be too long here :-) At Bioresearch itself I haven't posted a pic at the Honey Bees, Tree house, the Mini Zoo, the Cactus variety, the Mini Castle and a lot more especially at Enchanted Kingdom Amusement park where rides are at its best.

Know what? I only had a chance to ride in Carousel to assist Josh and in the Swan ride. Next time I'll ask my sis, hubby and my two girls to join us for more fun.

:TC - Round 'Space Shuttle'

for fun and learning

"ROUND" (Circle, Sphere, Curves, Moon, Clock, Coins,...)

This is the rounded and curved space shuttle in Enchanted Kingdom, one of thrilling rides in the amusement park where Josh and I had a glimpse only. during their educational tour/field trip. I'll never ride in such things as thrilling and exciting though it may seems I'm afraid of too much height.

Forget the excitement and experience because I don't want to blow and be embarrassed hahaha!
Glad Josh didn't asked me to ride with him or I'll have a problem then. Anyway for thrill seekers and those that enjoy pure riding pleasures I can recommend this. Enjoy the air!

He’s so Fond of Amusement Parks

My little boy always wants to talk about his educational tour especially our visit to his favorite amusement park. He always talks about the exciting rides, the tree house, the funny mascots & characters and all the fun he had experienced there. He asked me if we could go back there sometime and I told him we will with his two siblings. Of course his two sisters want to go there also and have fun with the rides he’s talking about. When my friend JennyL went on a trip abroad and had some Disney vacations she told us her exciting time there. She showed her tons of pictures when she was there with her family. Since that time Josh always ask me when we could possibly visit Disneyland. He likes to see all Disney characters that he love to watch on cable tv. He’s really hopeful that we could arrange a vacation there.

:PH#187 Bird(s)

Click images for a larger view

This is a shot taken from Josh' educational tour in Bioresearch, Parañaque. Philippines. It's hard to take a good shot of them as they were in a cage, I had to put the lens inside the wire to have a decent shot. Anyway I really love seeing parrots and their vivid colors which are usually green. To familiarize yourself with some info on this bird please read below details I got from Wikipedia.org

Parrots, also known as psittacines are found in most warm and tropical regions. Characteristic features of parrots include a strong curved bill, an upright stance, strong legs, and clawed zygodactyl feet. Most parrots are predominantly green, with other bright colors, and some species are multi-colored. The most important components of most parrots' diets are seeds, nuts, fruit, buds and other plant material. Parrots are one of the most intelligent birds, and the ability of some parrot species to imitate human voices enhances their popularity as pets.

(Minimalist, Simple Things, Simple Composition, Pure,...)

This week's theme for Thursday Challenge is Simple and I've posted this one as my entry to feature Simple Things and Simple Pleasures in life that makes us happy. Just look at my son Josh while he slides here along with other children, isn't he happy? With this simple slide in Enchanted Kingdom kids were happy enough to spent their time playing here!

Picture taken during their educational tour.

:WW - Bio Research Educational Tour

This is Part 2 of Josh Educational Tour. I'm posting here his tour at BioResearch where there are mini zoo, butterfly farm, honey bee culture and many fishes. I have plenty of shots here as the place is really big and almost have everything. Just don't hope that much on mini zoo as there are only few animals mostly birds only. It's mostly fishes and plants.

I'm sharing some photos of their fishes. More of Bioresearch next week.

View some Airforce Gears here. Happy WW visit more entries -> here.

Weekend Recap-Field Trip

Had a nice time with my three kids on our field trip last Saturday, it was actually the educational tour of my two daughters Gen and Ruth but Redge, Josh and I went with them for a real nice bonding time. Josh was the most excited as he counted the days before the scheduled date. I was a little frantic because I’ve got deadlines to meet and PPP was overflowing with opportunities last Friday before the field trip. It took me up to midnight to pack everything and cook all of our foods.

We arrived at the school 5am and the tour started at 6am. The tour itineraries are Manila Zoo, Gardenia Factory, Galinco Land – maker of Chips Delight, Luisa Ridge Resort and Melgian’s Sweets for our Buko Pie Making Demo.

Here are some pics of us in the field trip: (I’ll post some on my other blog)
