Sending Your Love and Affection Through Beautiful Flowers

I’ve always loved gardening since I was a child because my Mom used to have a big garden full of orchids and varieties of ornamental plants in our home town province. I remember myself picking out flowers from the garden and arranging it on our living room flower vase. It creates a peaceful ambiance in our home and brings about natural air freshener fragrance as well. Until these days we still maintain to have fresh cut flowers on our vase to brighten up the mood of the house.

Now we also need a well-arranged bouquet of flowers weekly for our Sunday Worship Church service and sometimes we find it hard to buy on the same day that we need it because of the country’s current situation. Since almost every piece of essential and necessities are being shipped by parcel and courier delivery services I’m thinking of flower delivery services too. There are many flower shops in our area like the nyc flower delivery of Plantshed Flowers that offers fair prices in goods and shipping costs so it would be a wise move to have our flowers delivered to our home for safety and convenience.

Ordering online gives us not just convenience but the freedom to choose whatever we want because when you browsed on various online flower shops you’ll get to compare prices, kinds of blooms and arrangement just like the flowers delivered in NYC. With their wide range of flowers to choose from you will enjoy picking the right flowers for your personal needs or for your recipient’s satisfaction. You can have tulips, lilies and roses in handcrafted bouquets or lush floral arrangements delivered on the same day. So for any occasion in your life be it birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s Day, thanksgiving, housewarming or for love and romance let your loved ones feel your warmth and affection through beautiful flowers delivered to them.

4 Essential Flowers Arrangements for your Wedding

Your wedding may be an enormous church affair or it may be an intimate event attended only by your nearest and dearest. No matter the size or the invite list, any wedding that you plan is going to feel overwhelming at one point or another. From taking care of the caterer to organizing the venue to making sure that everyone is on the right page for the rehearsal, you will discover that everything needs your attention! Before you fall over from exhaustion, however, consider your wedding flowers. When you are looking up the perfect flowers for you, Sydney has so many options but make sure to include the following key flower arrangements for your wedding day!

In the Bride's Hands
The bridal bouquet is an essential, and whether she is carrying it down the aisle or tossing it gleefully over her shoulder, it makes an impression! When you are looking for a florist in Beecroft or a florist in Pennant Hills, consider what effect you want to make. Consider a mounded bouquet for tradition's sake, or even a harvest bundle bouquet for something unique.

Bridesmaids' Bouquets
With bridesmaids' bouquets, make sure that you keep it small and simple. Make them essentially smaller and slightly plainer versions of the bride's bouquet.

Boutonnieres for the Best
Men All of the men in the wedding party should be wearing boutonnieres, especially if you are looking at having a formal wedding. To keep the boutonnieres masculine, choose darker flowers with sprigs of greenery.

Flowers, Flowers Everywhere!
When you are planning your wedding, be willing to get creative. The altar can have a centrepiece, as can the table for the bridal party, but don't forget the entryway and the sides of the aisle as well.

Are you ready for your wedding? There is so much going on that it might feel a little overwhelming. Whether you are still looking for the perfect florists in Sydney or you are on to your specific flower choices, take a moment to consider your options. There are so many great ways to incorporate flowers into your ceremony, so just think about where you want to see colour and go from there. These are the things that you will remember for the rest of your life, so make them count with Florist with Flowers on http://www.floristwithflowers.com.au!

Meaning of Flowers in My Life

I’ve always love flowers since I was a child. Guess I got it from my Mom who loves to plant and grow it in our garden. She has a green thumb so every plants and pots of flowers she puts in the garden grows abundantly. I’ve always watched how she lovingly talks to her plants everyday just like humans and it has a positive effect on their growth.

I remember having plenty of roses in our terrace all lined with vibrant red colors. Now that she’s old already my husband and I help her in keeping the garden. She was so happy that we shared the same fondness in landscaping and maintaining a garden. Every bloom that my Mom sees in the morning makes her smile and it surely makes her day happy.

Well that’s what we call the power of flower which Jephry Florist shares also as flowers can do some wonders in our life. Flowers are given as gift to young ladies and women by those who want to win their love. It’s also used in wedding, birthdays, special occasions and festivities. When someone is sick the best to bring to comfort and wish the sick well is nonetheless flowers. The kind of flowers varies though when you want to give it because it has symbols that express different meaning.

My husband gave me red roses when he’s still courting me because he wants to express his deep love for me. Red roses are the symbol for love and romance. But when I decided to accept his love he began giving me white roses which are actually my favorites and it’s a signal for me that whoever give me white rose will be the one for me. It represents innocence and purity of love and that’s what my dear husband gave me – his pure love.

During our days of courtship giving flowers means you have to buy it yourself and personally give it to someone you love or go to a shop to look for flowers available and have it delivered. It’s actually sweet but for those who have a very tight schedule won’t be able to do it. Thankfully these days you can search the net, choose the ones you like, order it online and have it delivered to your special someone. Much easier and while some others are still skeptic about ordering flowers online I still think it’s also cute and sweet because no matter what your style in giving flowers is the most important is the thought of giving. Just be sure that you get the most beautiful and freshest flowers in custom designs and a bouquet.

Sending Flowers

For women it’s always nice to receive flowers regardless of age whether you’re a teen, a single woman, a married woman or even the seniors. Flowers are symbol of affection and care so if you received a single rose, a dozen or a bunch of flowers you’ll always have a nice feeling of being thought of and cared about. I’ve received flowers in variety of kinds but it’s always the white roses from my husband which makes me feel loved and special. Maybe it’s the giver that’s making it special but whoever is the giver it’s always the thought that counts.

I know many women out there will agree to me that without flowers it wouldn’t be so sweet and special especially if it comes from your special someone. Now in this modern times it can also be ordered online here so those busy fellow who wants to send flowers but don’t have time to go to flower shops can send their love through flowers anytime. With this there can be no excuses for those who forgot to send flowers because you can have it hand delivered, delivered by flower shops or delivered through online orders. Such convenience!

:Today's Flowers #135: Petite Red Blooms

Pretty petite red blooms from a tree. I've found it near my kid's school and I just can't just pass without taking a shot.Yes it's a tree and not just a plant, we have this kind since I was a child but when the road was widened it was cut off to give way for the road. Sad :(
Anyway it's easy to plant it but we just can't regrow it now because of the space it requires, maybe someday.  For beautiful flowers around the world and red-themed photos just click at the badges above to view.

ProFlowers TV Code

I love flowers and I like receiving them from my husband who didn’t changed after 15 years of being married. He always gives me flowers on my birthdays, our anniversaries and some special occasions. I’m not that interested in expensive gifts from him and he knows that. I just love chocolates and roses up until now that we’re older. I guess only age changes but the real person in me stays the same, simple and romantic.

Well I’m also fond of giving flowers to my Mom, the most special woman in my life and I was thinking that it’s kinda sweet to order it online. Now that there’s ProFlowers TV code coupons to use when ordering flowers I can very well afford it. They have deals of the day where I found those lovely tulips at very low price.

:Today's Flowers#133 - Orchids

These are my MIL's orchids in Montalban which are just among their blooms in the beautiful garden they have.  My BIL takes care of the garden; he planted all the plants and flowers and had some landscaping too.  He has a green thumb in planting and every time we visit them we always takes some of their blooms to our home because my Mom loves gardening too. I even joked and asked them if we could  just bring plenty of pots there so they can include the pots when they do some gardening and we can just take them home lol! The latest we brought home last week was sunflower and a couple of fern-like plants.

:Today's Flowers#132: Star-Like Blooms

 Click the image to enlarge

I found these star-like white blooms at the abandoned park in Montalban.  Actually it's not an abandoned park but the place is not well kept and grasses are growing wildly.  These flowers shines out in the dark with its white petals gleaming beautifully against the dark environment.  We were there to see the mountains closely and the husband showed me where the Wawa dam is.  If many would recall it's where most of the water of the big flood caused by Ondoy came from.

Happy Monday! It's late but I really want to get back joining in this meme! To see more lovely flower entries for today's flowers click the badge above.

:Today's Flowers/Mellow Yellow Monday: MIL's Zinnias

These are my dear MIL's Zinnias which I wanted most for my garden lol! She wanted to give me each color of this kind of bloom but I forgot when we went back home.  Oh dear! My own Mom expected us to bring these to her but we went home with nothing of these pretty blooms.  We'll go back there when the car is in good condition and I'll certainly put these at the back of the pickup.

This variety of flower with the same yellow  petite blooms at the middle is one of my favorites and I wouldn't mind having all these colors in my own garden I mean our garden.  Mom and I share the same garden.  We have the same flair for plants and blooms.

:TF/RT/MYM : School Blooms

Click the image to enlarge

I accompanied dear daughter when she represented her school in basic encoding skills in the inter-town division and we were so early there.  I really wanted to be on time and we're surprised that only few were early for the competition.  Anyway to pass the time we rounded the school's compound and found this flower scattered through the canteen compound. I found the flower shape striking as it looks like little red leaves but it's really flowers.

:Today's Flowers #116/Ruby Tuesday: Little Red Blooms

Click the image to enlarge
We had a tree which bring forth this petite red blooms since childhood but lost it  when the national road widened and our garden was minimized into half of its original size.  This shot was taken beside  the little boy's school.  When I saw the tree I remembered our own old tree which becomes red when these little blooms appear. Hmmm I noticed I'm becoming sentimental these days! Just missing the old days when dear old daddy was still alive and gardening with my Mom.

:Ruby Tuesday/Wordless Wednesday: Lovely Contrast

Click the image to enlarge

This has caught my attention because I love flowers and these red santan are beautifully trimmed to form a circular shape surrounding the pale-leaves tree. I love the stark contrast between the trees pale mint (almost white) leaves and the vivid color of red. Just perfect! Btw this landscape can be seen at the parking lot of Ever shopping mall in Ortigas. Will love having it in our garden :-)

:Today's Flowers #111/Ruby Tuesday: SIL Blooms

Click the image to enlarge
This is one of the flowers in my sister-in-law's garden in UK which I asked her to share  with me for my blog.  Gardening and growing beautiful flowers like this one is one of the favorite hobbies of ate Zen.  This is only one of her pretty blooms.  I've featured her Dahlia here few weeks ago.  She's a little sad that her garden will only last for a few months because when winter sets in she'll say goodbye to them and restore the garden again on spring unlike here in our tropical country where you can have your garden the whole year round, well on stormy days you can just bring the flowers on pots inside the house to protect them.

I wish she can send those blooms here before the winter lol!

:Today's Flowers/Ruby Tuesday: Dahlia

Click the image to enlarge
My SIL is very fond of gardening and she has lots of flower plants in her garden in Trent. G.B.  I've seen how pretty her garden is and I told her that I would post in my blogs her collection.  She shared her precious pics to me and I'm sharing this lovely Red and White Dahlia.  Such a striking combination for a flower.  I just love the pattern of shades.

:Today's Flowers#104/Ruby Tuesday : Zinnia

Click the images to enlarge

This is one flower specie that I love to look at always because they stand at the crowd. Their vivid color and their petals are a sight to love. They're perfect for photo shoot also as they can be easily captured with one shot only unlike the pale colored flowers where you have to concentrate on the lights and angle to have a clear shot. These shots are all taken on one snap each only in the same village in Montalban where hubby's family lives. Very colorful and pretty don't you think?

Here's some info from Mr. Wikipedia:

Zinnia is a genus of 20 species of annual and perennial plants of family Asteraceae, originally from scrub and dry grassland in an area stretching from the American Southwest to South America, but primarily Mexico, and notable for their solitary long-stemmed flowers that come in a variety of bright colors.

Zinnia leaves are opposite and usually stalkless (sessile), with a shape ranging from linear to ovate, and pale to middle green in color. The flowers have a range of appearances, from a single row of petals, to a dome shape, with the colors white, chartreuse, yellow, orange, red, purple, and lilac.

Zinnias are popular garden flowers, usually grown from seed, and preferably in fertile, humus-rich, and well-drained soil, in an area with full sun. They will reseed themselves each year. Over 100 cultivars have been produced since selective breeding started in the 19th century.

:Today's Flowers#101/Ruby Tuesday - Rooster Cockscombs

Click the images to enlarge

I'm still asking the name of this flower because my Mom calls it 'Palong Manok' because it resembles the Rooster cockscombs, all I know of this one is they're blooming so beautifully in our hometown in Laguna. Though, this one is not from Laguna. I got this shot from my Mom-in-law's garden in Montalban. I noticed that they grow in clusters!

:Today's Flowers/Ruby Tuesday : Red Santan

Click the images to enlarge

I'm happy that I'm back here in my favorite and one of the first meme I joined when I was in my first year of blogging. I love flowers and every where I go no flower escapes my lens lol! My eye always hunts their beauty no matter how simple and small they are like this red santan blooms which looks like pink in macro shots maybe due to sunshine. Santan (Ixora Coccinea) is an all season flower here in our country.

Studies revealed many healing properties of this flower like: wound healing, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antitumor, anti-inflammatory,anti-ulcer, protection against electroconvulsions and many other uses.
