Criminal Defense Lawyers

Two years ago my friend was charged with the crime that she didn’t do, it was a setup. She was the one who was accused and some evidences apparently pointed out to her. She couldn’t do anything when she was finally arrested; her family tried everything to get a good lawyer for her. This is a common scenario to me as I’ve heard many cases with a history like this. It was really frustrating if you’ve been accused of a crime that you didn’t committed. You really need to ask the help of good lawyers like the Los Angeles Criminal Lawyers | California Criminal, DUI Defense who specializes in criminal defense. Their firm has an assurance to clients that only the best lawyers will handle and litigate their case. After all you wouldn’t want inexperienced lawyers to handle the case of your loved one. Rest assured that they will dedicate their knowledge, effort and resources to give justice to the case.

Gen Has Tonsilitis!

Gen was having problems with her throat and when I try to see her tonsils I saw that it’s slightly red. As I’ve experienced this thing with Ruth, my eldest I easily identified it as tonsilitis. I’ve decided to go to office early and go home one hour under time just to have my Gen checked up. After assuring Gen that I’ll be back soon after arranging things in the office I hurriedly got out of the house. What I have before me is a traffic jam with no promise of smoothing down. I easily decided to back out and return to our house to bring my daughter to our doctor. Josh was also with us as he always wants to be with me whenever I’m home.

We waited for our turn and when Dr. Cristy finally examined Gen we both have the same findings, Gen has tonsilitis but on a very early stage that’s why her temperature is still normal. She prescribed Amoxicillin 250mg to be taken in 6 ml. dosage three times a day for 7 days. My two kids were happy after that as after the checkup I’ve already ordered hot Belgian waffle for them, it’s one of their favorites. We also have some waffles for my Mom who’s waiting for us in the house. I’ve prepared the antibiotic mixture for Gen and see to it that she has taken her first dose before I finally went to office again, this time the traffic runs smoothly.

Yaya Bears

We had a visit to my kids' doctor yesterday to check if Josh has gained some weight after his checkup last June 10, 2008 when he had folliculitis. Doctor's assistant nurse was accommodating as always and super friendly to Josh whom she said she liked very much because Josh is so smart and sweet. I’m happy that after the nurse weighed him we learned that he gained 1.5 kgs. in 20 days. Dr. Cristy congratulated him and since he gained weight I bought another bottle of his new vitamins and food supplement ‘Yaya Bears Multivitamins’ because it has given him and my two daughters much appetite.

This multivitamins comes in gummy bear form and tastes like super yummy. I always tell them not to treat it as candy and take just one bear daily as recommended dosage by their doctor.

Health Reminder For Me

I’ve started my 2-week diet plan today because it felt like my breathing difficulty is partly due to my pounds gained these past weeks. Yesterday after our office lunch break I suddenly felt a slight pain in my chest and it continued up to the next day. It only stabilizes when my Mom advised me to have some rest for hours, no TV, no internet, no household chores for a few hours. She believes that the pain in my chest is not only on my excess pounds but also due to lack of sleep and rest.

During weekdays and schooldays I’ve only about 3-4 hours of sleep a day that’s making me feel tired most of the time. My full time and part-time work is getting the best of me including my health. As of now my resignation still hangs in the air as no one’s available to replace me as administrative officer, billing and accounting supervisor and carrier settlement officer. The company has already advertised for an accountant and I’m hoping and praying that God will have one applicant that He’ll bring to BT&T to replace me so I can go on with my new life, that of a full-time mom and part-time blogger. As for now I have to fit it all in my super list of responsibilities.

--- The Best Gift Ever ---
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car.

Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold. Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,"With all your money you give me a Bible?"And stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was verysuccessful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.

He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matthew 7:11,"And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?" As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God's blessing because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Pass it on to others. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for...

PLS. SEND THIS TO AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE SO AS TO LET THIS GREAT LESSON FLOW AROUND.

Lesson I learned: (The best gift doesn't always come with the nice packages, the Bible itself is a gift)

Outer Banks Vacation

We all need rest to keep our body in great shape and condition, to stay healthy and strong and to relieve ourselves of worries and tensions. And for me one of the best ways to relax your body and mind is to have a vacation away from your home so you’ll have plenty of time to relax, rest and meditate. Some people want it somewhere in the provinces, in the mountains, or in the beach. I’ve known many people also who prefer to spend it in an Outer Banks vacation rental home where they can have peace of mind looking at the beach or visit other places around the area. It was a wonderful thought!

We bought the prescribed medicine and let her have an intake but up to the point only that the pain is so strong. A friend told me that her mom died because of too much intake of medicine for rheumatism so she suggested to get one therapist from massage therapy schools roster of graduates because they can easily provide massage therapy to anyone needing their services. My mom loved the idea of having her personal therapist. She learned that therapy is a better alternative to soothe body pains and relax your mind. It’s also a safer method.

Natural Way of Treating Acne

My cousin has been worried lately by the small pimples that suddenly popped out of her face near the nose. It has always been her dilemma because she always tells us that she got it from her father’s blood, the skin prone to pimples and acne. I’m still wondering if it’s hereditary as my cousin always tells me. Well if that’s true many would groan as that will add to their problem. You can’t easily cure hereditary sickness. My cousin’s profession is teaching and she badly needed a remedy to her problem as she always face a lot of people everyday and she’s getting conscious of her face scars brought about by pimples. And she’s also worried that it might turn into acne.

I’ve been blessed I must say that my parents don’t have history of pimple or acne-prone skin if hereditary thing is true. But when I was in college days I experienced one or two pimples now and then if I spent late nights and eat too much fatty foods but I’m lucky that I passed the puberty stage without scars of acne on my face just like my siblings. But still I’m doing some reading and surfing on issues about skin problems because it can happen to anyone and if you know about Natural Acne treatment you can help others recover from this. Acne laser treatment is good and fast solution to acne problem but it’s also expensive. If you can’t afford laser treatment and you’re patient enough you can start curing your pimples or acne in a natural way. Best way is through a good healthy diet devoid of too many fats and sugars, using herbal medicines, drink plenty of water to wash away toxins and proper hygiene. You might never know solution for your acne can be found in your home only.

Your Age by Diner & Restaurant Math

YOUR AGE BY EATING OUT

Don't tell me your age; you probably would tell a falsehood anyway-but
your waiter may know!

This is pretty cool and neat! It will give out your real age and how many times you want to dine out. Try it now!

DON'T SCROLL DOWN, Just slowly read as you go by!

It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read.
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
I can assure you it’s not one of those waste of time things, it's really fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to
go out to eat (more than once but less than 10)
2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)
3. Add 5
4. Multiply it by 50
5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1758...
If you haven't, add 1757.
6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number. (I.e., How many times
you want to go out to restaurants in a week.)

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE ! ------ (Oh YES, it is!) I want to eat outside twice a week and I’m 40 years old.

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2008) IT WILL EVER WORK. Satisfied?

Donate Your Used Boat

Helping others by giving donations is a humble thing to do and gives a certain fulfillment in your heart. What you do to the least of your brother is like doing it to Jesus. Giving shelter to live, food to eat, clothes to warm cold bodies and help to the less fortunate ones are the best deeds in life. What good would it be if you only give to those who can repay you? Those that can’t repay are the ones you should help first. God will be the one to return all the blessings that you gave to others. You can give cash or goods depending on your capacity. Like if you want to give to Angel Ministries you could donate boats so you can help them create children’s animations and anti-drug documentaries.

This is a unique kind of asking donations for a cause, you can donate your used boat of any kind like fishing boat, bowrider boat, cabin cruiser boat, sailboat, skiboat or many other kinds of boat. Angel Ministries promote Boat Donations from all over the nation and they sell these boats at 50% off and use the proceeds to help their partner charities. Their children’s animations DVDs were distributed for free and can teach ethical and moral lessons to children.

I’m really amazed at their brilliant idea of encouraging people to donate used boats for helping less privileged people like the orphans, boys in the rehabilitation homes and even prisoners. This Donate my Boat to Charity program is a big help to those who wants to have a renewed life and better future. So let’s help them now and donate our used boats to them.

Worship Amidst Typhoon

Typhoon Frank hits the country with gusty winds and rains which brought about floodwaters in many areas in Visayas. Rizal and Metro Manila were earlier announced as Signal No. 1 only but we experienced winds blowing hard on the roof, trees and billboards. Electricity was cut early dawn Sunday and since that hour we never had a decent sleep.

Rain or shine it's going to be our worship day as long as our car can pass through the fallen trees, slippery road and gusty winds. Even if our brake is slipping we know that God will take care of us in our travel no matter what. Though it took us almost an hour traveling to our church we thanked God that He never let us met accident in the road despite faulty in our brakes. He hold us in His protective hands because He wanted us to have fellowship and we could worship Him amidst Typhoon Frank.

What Flavor Frappuccino Are You?

That's what they always tell me that I'm smooth-living and friendly-sweet person, they don't see my slight spicy side lol! It's also true that I can easily fit to almost any crowd because being the eldest daughter I was raised to entertain people from all walks of life when my father was still in public government office, maybe just maybe I also inherited these traits from my parents but the real truth is sometimes I challenge myself if I can really fit a certain group. But that's the end of the rope as being a born-again Christian taught me not to be influenced easily, I should know my limitations.

European Furniture

My sister-in-law is currently having her house built in a nice and quiet subdivision somewhere in the province near the urban areas. Now that the house is nearing its completion she’s thinking of the interior decoration and furnishings for her new house. Since she’s living abroad with her kids in U.K. she wanted a set of modern furniture that resembles her furniture there. She wanted a European-inspired design of furnishings for her house.

Summer Moments

My family was so fond of swimming and we never really miss summer moments on a pool or beach resort. I remember when my first child was only 9 months old and we visited Dingalan beach in Nueva Ecija near Aurora Province. We had a tough road and travel going there but it’s worth the effort because the beach there has very nice waves and clear water. My sister-in-law gave some nice cute swimsuits to my baby girl but we never really tried to get her into the seawater for fear of strong uncontrollable waves. She just stayed at the beachfront and watched others swim with the waves.

Sweet Fifteen

My niece will be celebrating her 15th birthday this year and as early as this time she is busy planning her birthday guest list, dress and menu. Actually here in the Philippines we never really make 15th birthday a big bash as the most celebrated birthdays are sweet sixteen and debut on the 18th year of the celebrant. But in some countries they really took time and effort to celebrate Quinceanera birthday or what we commonly called 15th birthday.

The Latino people in the Spanish speaking regions of the Americas celebrate a young lady’s fifteenth birthday in the most memorable way, unique and different from all of the young woman’s birthday. They chose the best
Quinceanera Dresses for the occasion just like celebrating debut. And because population of the Latino is increasing in number the Quinceanera ceremony is becoming more popular and well celebrated. They really stick to maintaining old tradition of making this occasion a special one.

Now to make it more memorable and almost perfect there is an online site that provides resources in planning your Quinceanera. Yes, Quinceanera Sweet-Fifteen.com specializes in planning your 15th birthday decorations, theme ideas, dresses and gowns, party favors, gifts and Quinceanera Invitations. It’s actually a party planner to help you in making this birthday memorable and beautiful. This site focus mainly on providing all resources needed for a Sweet Fifteen celebration, it’s like welcoming a young lady from being a big girl into becoming a young woman, the threshold of a girl into a young lady. A sweet and nice young lady!

It’s Our National Hero’s 147th Bday!

I was arranging my husband’s lunch kit early morning when Josh suddenly asked me who is Jose Rizal, I was surpised by the sudden question but I immediately answered him that Rizal is the Filipino’s national hero. Then I passed by the television morning news and there it was, the news station newscaster is talking about the 147th birthday of our hero. She was talking to the curator of the Rizal’s house and the lady curator showed her the rooms of the house describing the history behind the parts of the house. It was a nice antique house and I was there with my kids only last year. The house depicts many memories of the past and in the morning show I learned that Jose Rizal stayed there only up to nine years old then he studied abroad.

The whole town of Calamba, Laguna prepared many programs and it seemed like the whole town is busy with the birthday of their hometown hero. They’re very proud of him and who wouldn’t be. I’m proud that he’s from the same province as my mother’s race, we’re from Famy. Laguna.

I have some pictures here of Rizal’s house in Calamba, Laguna during one of my kids’ field trip.

Soak Away Your Stress

Ever had the experience of soaking yourself in a bathtub? It’s a nice relaxing experience and if these particular luxurious bathtubs are only for the rich people in the past nowadays even ordinary people have it. I myself have been renovating our old bathroom and told my engineer brother to design a modern bathroom with beautiful amenities. He gave selection of bathtubs available in the market. I’ve realized that indeed a lot of change has happened in the preferences of most people. Even the bathtubs’ style, design, materials and sizes varies tremendously now.

If you’re really interested in seeing different kinds of bathtubs to choose from it’s easier now as many online shopping sites provide wide variety of bathtubs like Simply Bath Tub which offers plenty of styles to choose from like corner bath tubs, acrylic bath tubs, antique bath tubs, modern bath tubs, free standing bath tubs and cast iron bath tubs. All styles are available for whichever kind you want for your house like if you want the antique style and elegant
claw foot tub originally found in the homes of the wealthy people. If these tubs were made in the past from cast iron or porcelain finish well this time you can have lighter material for this like acrylic. Whatever you want for your claw foot tubs you can still have the same elegant look for your bathroom.

Getting the best feel in soaking to a bathtub you can search for the modern whirlpool bathtub. This bathtub can really relax you as it has water jets to calmly massage your tired body. You can choose if you want a drop-in or an alcove type. Of course drop-in are more expensive and luxurious than the alcove type having the opportunity to built it on an elevated bathroom, against the wall, into a certain corner or just dropped into the floor. It’s as nice as it’s bigger and it fits more than one person. But for those who want a smaller
whirlpool tubs the best to choose is the alcove type as it fits most bathroom areas having just the right regular size and less expensive too. There’s really plenty to decide and choose from and it’s all available online, you don’t have to stress your mind and your body in selecting just the right bathtub for you. Simply Bath Tubs has it all to give you a relaxing place to soak your stress away and have fun with your family especially your kids!

Sleep Softly

I’ve been having bad sleeping nights lately due to pains in my back. It’s the sensitive part of my body as stress and fatigue makes my back ache. Even when I was single and was assigned in technical-bidding proposal I used to suffer from this pain. I know that these bad sleeping nights will give poor health because as we all know a healthy body can only be maintained with proper diet, exercise and right amount of sleep. That’s why I took some time off my busy schedule to search for good waterbeds which can give a peaceful stress-free sleep to anyone suffering from sleeping disorders. Sleep is very important so we should be aware of any disturbances we may be having in our sleep.

I’ve been hearing plenty of advertisement about beds that can make you sleep peacefully and rest your body from stress, anxiety and worries. There are lots of them in the market and I’ve found one online while I was browsing the net. My Water Shop offers online shopping for all bedding requirements including waterbeds, air beds, waterbed mattresses and waterbed accessories. It makes shopping a nice experience as you can do searching and purchasing your desired quality and stylish products in the comfort of your own home.

They also provide varieties of the most comfortable softside waterbed available in the market. This waterbed will give you the best sleep possible just like the sleep of a contented infant, comfortable and peaceful sleep. The reason behind this is the great features of the softside waterbeds with its dual waveless lumbar matters, solid state heater, high density foam rails and the removable damask pillow top. The waterbed includes free drain and fill kit with conditioner to prevent the growth of odor causing and slime-forming bacteria. This way you can be assured of a clean and fresh waterbed. And because they value their customer they offer a 30-day return/exchange policy if a problem arises after the purchase.

Boss' Birthday

After the live demo of customized sales force solution all BT&T staff prayed and ate lunched together for our boss’ birthday. It’s Sir Bobby’s 30th birthday but he looks like he’s in his middle twenties only. Some people are like that – they never seem to grow old, some grows old early in life. I must admit that those with chinky eyes look younger than their age just like JennyL.

Of course everybody was there including our dear Sir Bob. As usual we have the company’s all-time favorite Pancit (not me of course coz I’m a pasta lover), liempo and lechon manok from shopwise, double dutch ice cream and drinks. We never had the time to prepare for a fruit salad. Forgive my picture because the celebrant is not there, he's on a phonecall when i took the picture.

Jazzing Up Some Lights In Your Homes

My engineer brother invited us to the house blessing of one of his projects but before the projected date of the house blessing he told me that the owner want to add some more lights in the house to add warmth and color to the newly constructed two-storey house. He would need a lot of indoor light fixtures to capture the effect his client wants for his new house. It was a sudden decision and my brother is running out of time to canvass and look for quality lights on good deals.

The only suggestion that I did was to go searching for his required lights online. I told him here’s plenty of a store online that can give all he wants to complete his projected design. Of course to add class and luxurious look to the house he would need some chandeliers that would go well with the carpet and indoor paints. I myself look at every chandelier of the house I’m visiting, we have one in the house with 6 lights but now we’re not using it as I find it not complementing with our new modern decorations.

My brother was happy with my suggestion and he proceeded with looking at all the possible indoor light fixtures that he’ll need to accentuate the paintings and artworks on the wall. He wanted to add some life into the house so he choose some wall fixtures to jazz up the simple wall. He added some vanity lighting for the bathroom and under-cabinet lighting for the kitchen. We’ve finished the tasks days ahead of the scheduled occasion and his client was satisfied. I was also happy that there are sites like Shopwiki that offers solutions to our needs for decorating and beautifying our house in the comfort of doing all the searching, choosing and purchasing in the comfort of our homes.

Customizing BT&T Sales Force

We had a seminar demo on Sales Force with an objective in customizing our company’s Sales and Marketing Department and possibly Technical Department too. We included Ms. Bea based in New York using YM just like video conferencing, it’s really amazing using the latest technology. The agenda for this demo are IP-Convergence profile, Salesforce, Live Demo of SFDC for BT&T and Investment Summary. The account manager of IP Convergence Ms. Lhen first introduced their company and summarized objectives and services. She then included discussing their partners and the companies that they bought.

IP-Convergence provides data center services and customized solutions for companies on their sales force, technical and many other aspects of services. They would have to make a solution for our company’s required services such as complete monitoring of the whole business, standardizing sales methodology/process and gain standardized reports for monitoring of user department/group.

Hope that this will eventually be used in our office to customize our America Calls project.

Home Furniture

My husband is working in a company that sells appliances and furniture for office and home. And because of that I’m really keen on the quality and price of the brand I like. I would always ask him what’s the best for a certain kind of appliance and if the price is good also. There’s one time when I visited their store and found a very nice and comfortable home furniture that will certainly look good on our living room. I really wanted that furniture so much but I don’t have enough budget. Luckily when my hubby asked for a discount they deducted 5% on it and we scheduled the delivery of that furniture.

My Dear Friend Jannet

We were strolling along Tiendesitas when I received a text message from my friend Jannet that she will resign from her work. She’s a teacher friend of mine whom I’ve met when Ruth was in the first grade when we were both PTA officers of our children’s school. Since then we became friends and got closer as the years passed by. I may call another wonder woman as she performs various works all at the same time. She’s a full time preparatory school teacher in St. Audry, got lots of tutorials for her free time and part-time customer representative in our company BT&T since March. Last summer she worked for one month in ADB as BT&T’s reliever for switchboard operator on weekdays and CSR on weekends’ night-duty.

I told her to take care of her body and health as she never seems to rest. I’m also a workaholic person but to see a person works in the same way as myself gave me some worries on my heart. I was thinking what if our overworking activities give a toll on our bodies, how can we cope with that. Our family needs us so much that we should really take care of our health, both of us.

I’ve already resigned from this present work of mine but my boss asked me to extend my stay as there’s no one available yet to replace me. Maybe just maybe I’ll be able to leave in a few months. Jannet knowing my resignation has supported me with my decision but I told her that she should think also of giving up some work that she has so she’ll be able to take care of her family and most especially herself. So when I received her text message I was really happy that she finally had the courage to relieve herself of some tasks that she have. No worries for her now.

Here's a picture of us the first year of our friendship together with our other parent friends from left Annie, Anna, Teacher Lisa, Me and Jannet. (taken March 2005)

Shopping For Your Home

Home is where you rest your body after a day’s work, it is where you start building your own family and build a nice foundation for them. Home is where the heart is as they say and if your heart is in it you must express your heart through it. The things that you put in your house are a reflection of your personality and your taste. To create an ambience that truly describes the family that lives in it you must furnish it with a home and garden furniture, accessories and appliances that suits your style.

And if you want to do it but don’t have the luxury of time there’s a lot of available sites online which will give you ideas on what products to buy. I found online Shopwiki site which offers complete lines of products for your
home and garden. No need to waste your time walking endlessly to search, canvass and purchase items for your home as their site caters to online shoppers and offers products from wide variety of stores they seek on the net. Yes you can find your favorite stores through their site. They provide all sites including those who did not advertise with them.

This is really nice especially for busy working moms out there who can’t find the time to explore furniture or appliance store on foot. With this online shopping they can search for their home furnishing, houseware, home maintenance, kitchen, dining, and workshop, home improvement, outdoor and garden to complete their shopping for their homes. It’s easier to look for beautiful
oriental rugs to exude a warm look on my living room. This is really a big help as they have all the things you will need for your home and garden.

Father's Day

Spent the whole day at the church and we've planned to have snack or dinner somewhere in Tiendesitas as they're open until after 9pm. We've rounded the place but after all the food stores and restaurants we've ended up to the kids' favorite Jollibbee lol! My three kids doesn't want to eat those food in SM hypermart catering to different kinds of food, they just want to eat french fries, chicken burgers, spaghetti and chicken so to make the choices simple we just dined in the branch near SM.

We're not really that serious celebrating Father's Day as having a formal dinner or what; just a simple eat-together kind is enough just as long as the whole family is happy. We brought our prayers to God to keep Ed healthy and forever caring. Together with my kids we thanked God that He gave us a father and husband that so loves, understanding and doing his best to keep our family in the bosom of God's love and care. He is not just a good father but also a good minister of God.

CCS84 Forum

Have signed up now on my batchmates' forum prepared by Bes JennyL. Our high school batch is arranging and planning on our silver alumni homecoming next year, wow! I myself can't imagine or believe that our batch, the 'bagets era' were into our silver anniversary. Batchmates living abroad are the most active like Joanne who prepared the formal letter to all our alumni to get out of their shell (well that includes me as I'm only reading the yahoo groups not commenting on anything) and suggest something for the homecoming.

That touched my heart, I felt the drive and effort made by others and I volunteered to print the letter for our batchmates who are not techy meaning those who don't have the time or interest to go online. Then JennyL made a forum and that triggered a lot. Hope many of our batchmates join the forum for easy communication for all of us. If you happen to be a graduate of CCS from Batch'84 please join us at CCS84 Yahoogroup or be a part of CCS Batch84 forum.

Design

We had a meeting about our company’s new project and after some discussions and suggestions we’ve arrived to an idea that we should have an attractive website to attract clients. It’s the idea of the owner of the company that a custom web design can effectively attract online visitors and get them interested into the products that were selling, design is very important as it can successfully promote your products and services.

To materialize our agreed topics we have prepared requirements and design preferences, insights and the contents of our would-be site. This is in preparation for our meeting with the hired professional web designer to do it; unluckily that meeting was postponed due to tight schedule of the person who will do it. It’s nice that there’s web design blog that offers website design with complete programming, website templates, logo design and even flash websites if you need a truly eye-catching site.

This stylish weblog install scripts, write codes in various programming languages, design websites based on HTML, CSS, Swish or Flash depending on the client’s requirements and specifications. They also provide those attractive and beautiful logos to go with your stylish website. Rest assured that this design blog will make every visitor a prospective client as they will be glued to the beauty and design of your website. Their design will turn boring site into an attractive and exciting one. This will surely increase sales and promotes your products extensively. This is definitely a solution to your marketing problems.

Orientation and Meeting In St. Audry

The school ad
ministration sent out letters to parents for a one hour and a half orientation on the rules and regulations of the school. The meeting was all about the wearing of uniforms, schedule of classes, school programs, proper decorum of students and parents, grading system and many things that parents should know about the school's guidelines. Have noticed that there's an increase in enrollment at the kindergarten class and since teacher Connie have to leave for a work outside the country the school hired another two, one replacement and another for the additional students who've enrolled this school year. Josh teacher for this year is Ms. Jannet Remigio.

Getting Well

I’m glad that Josh’ wounds are reacting positively on the prescribed antibiotic, his complains about the itching and pain is lesser now. Actually this day I heard about one complain only and it’s about the micropore tape that clings to his skin, oh well Josh is just like that, a real baby because he’s the youngest. I was also amazed at his effort to go to school despite his wounds. I told him that it’s ok if he’ll just report next week because it’s just the start but he would never heard any of it. He’s happy to go to school, a real smart student and I’m proud that all of my kids are really excited in going to school.

I Love Reading Books

Ever since I was in high school I was very fond of reading books, actually it’s one of the reasons why I’m nearsighted now. If I started reading a novel I wouldn’t stop until I flipped the back cover. My preferences are varied, I’m interested in so many things in the field of history, science, mystery, travel, home designs and inspirational books. Reading books was a kind of therapy for me as I learn and explore so many things. Now that I’m too busy to look for books that I want to read it’s nice that I can buy my favorite books online. No need to go to bookstore and go through shelves to look for the books that I want.

Independence Day

Though Madame President changed the date of Independence Day holiday I still post this on the real day of the time that our country had its Independence. As always buildings, establishment, school and houses put their flags waving in front of their establishment to commemorate the day that our Philippine flag was raised on June 12, 1898 in Aguinaldo’s House in Kawit, Cavite.

Every Independence day our church was spending the holiday on a beach renting a hall and cottages to have a one-day fellowship and every June 12 we go to Villamar Resort in Rosario, Cavite because we’re comfortable with the setup there. On our way to Villamar Resort we always passed by near the place of Aguinaldo’s house but 6am onwards the police authorities there were rerouting the vehicles to have some traffic order.

We only see the house and the place on our way back to Manila and as we passed by the house I’m always on a trance imagining things that happened in that house, history was my favorite subject you know that’s why I’m really interested with places, origins, events, culture and things that pertains to history.

Awareness On Folliculitis

Went home earlier yesterday and brought Josh to his doctor before going to bible study. Josh had one of those small pimples on the forehead and beginning to spread on the head. Since school has already started I wanted it to heal faster as it also causing him some pain. Just in time before the doctor closed her clinic we luckily entered the clinic as the last patient. Josh was very comfortable with Dr. Cristy Pablo, a sister of my classmate in high school and a daughter of my father’s friend. He answers every question asked of him with a smile that’s why Dr. Cristy can’t stop smiling at him too commenting how smart he is.

Upon examination of his head she concluded that the small pimples around his hair follicles are folliculitis forming on the head and scalp. I’ve researched about this as the name sounds new to me and I’ve learned that this infection on the head are really itchy and painful due to wounds that are open with yellow-brown crusts formed around the margin. The wound bed appears inflamed, reddish, bleeds easily and can spread rapidly. I’m glad that my son’s infection is not that inflamed or reddish and his doctor told me that within one week of treatment his wounds will dry out.

She gave Josh a prescription of Cloxacillin antibiotic, 3x a day for 7 days together with Povidone-Iodine as antimicrobial treatment to be applied to the freshly cleaned wounds. I’ve been using agua-oxinada as cleanser for the wounds. By the way this infection is like boils the difference is boils tend to be single and larger while folliculitis is a group of small infected spots. So for moms out there take note of this if you happen to see a pimple-looking thing on your kid don’t just take it for granted, it could be an infection.

New Hope For Cancer Patients

Many women nowadays are suffering from breast cancer. Some have recovered but others aren’t lucky enough to escape the sting of the killer disease. I have a friend who has recently recovered through her improved healthy eating habits, strong faith and prayers from us. Statistics have shown that a lot of women suffered from this disease because of many factors, wrong eating habit, too much physical stress, overworked, some complications and few have hereditary roots. The common cure for this disease is chemotherapy but a lot of the women I’ve known completed the chemotherapy program but their bodies resisted the recovery. If only there’s alternative cancer treatments for cancer patients maybe some of them would have recovered.

Have been very interested with finding alternative method on how to prevent and cure this prevailing disease and came upon New Hope Medical Center, an alternative cancer center which offers better method of treatment that will work well with your body’s natural health and not against it. They focus on restoring your immune system to cope up with strong medications. They build immune system, implement anti-tumor methods and detoxification, promotes stress reduction and most importantly psychological healing which would help them recover fast. All treatments are different individually depending upon the patient’s needs.

It’s nice to know that there’s really a new hope for cancer patients. With all these that New Hope Medical Center has to offer I can see that there are big chances and possibilities of surviving cancer. Patient needs healthy life style, well balanced food, right eating habit, rest and alternative cancer treatment to have strong immune system to fight the most common cancer these days.

Josh Is Kinder Now!

Josh was so excited that even if his schedule is on the afternoon he asked me to prepare his things earlier and even requested me to take him to school before lunchtime, really missing his schooling or maybe his school friends. It took me a long time to get ready because I’ve dressed his wound in the forehead. It’s just a small skin infection but I’ve covered it just to be sure that his wound wouldn’t be infected with dirt.

He has a new teacher now but he’s on the same room as when he’s on nursery. He’s very happy to see some of his buddies like Yvan, Rafael, Marc Axl and Louis Andre. Lucky they have each other again for friends. He’s different now unlike last year when he wanted me by his side. He even told me after class that their teacher told them not to bring their moms on the second day lol! That really got me laughing!

I waited for him as I’ve done with all of my kids on their first day and I’m not alone on this as almost every kid has a mommy, granny or nanny waiting for them. After they went out of the room he pleaded to play first in the slide before going home as many kinder students were already on different playthings there, some on the playhouse, others on the seesaw, I also saw one kid on the bike and a lot of them on the slide, the favorite one. Funny thing is the announcement on the wall ‘No Classes Tomorrow’. That announcement on the first day? Yap! Because tomorrow is Provincial Day of Rizal, our province.
