Car is Ok Now!

I had to take a halfday leave today as I'm arranging the schedule of workers who will do another septic tank for us. Two brothers in our church were here early morning and together with hubby they repaired the gear box problem. Bro. Alex and Bro. Gideon were on a coding vacation from work every Monday so it's really the best time to work the steering problem of the car.

Have postponed construction in our backyard as there's no way the delivery truck can pass through our driveway. I just assured Mom that everything will be alright tomorrow even if I won't be there. This week is the busiest time in billing.

We were so happy that finally our car is ok now!

Myrn Is Here For A Month!

I was so happy when I saw Myrns' text message last Thursday asking me if I can meet her at our fave place. She went home for a a visit and to get an authenticated transcript and diploma to use in Australian job offer. She and her hubby are currently working in East Timor and someone hired them to work in Australia. They're so lucky the man hired them both. Myrns is one of my closest friends in my work in Design Science, Inc. and we shared happy and sad moments in our lives together.

Bless, Myrns and I dined at Greenwich pizza and lost track of the time as we talked about our condition here and their (Myrns and hubby Jhun) life in East Timor. Actually I found out that there's no social life there, they have many work to go to some other beautiful places. Anyway I've known the couple as simple guys, and I love them for that. One look at Myrns and you'll have to agree with me. She's as simple as ever unlike those who work and came from other countries. She'll be back in East Timor in a week and we scheduled one meeting with our friend Kelyn. Time was not enough as always, I really miss her you know! Will post picture later!

Pastor's Birthday

It's our pastor's birthday last August 12 (this is actually a late post)

We went to GMA Cavite last August 12 for our church pastor's birthday. We (hubby, me and Redge) filed our vacation leave and went with our brethren early in the morning. As always travel is filled with stories and laughter as we're with our church friends. We chose not to bring our car and just go with the majority using two jeepney. The jeep was jammed pack with us together with the small kids.

Upon getting there we started hellos and his and had some sharing with pastor. After a while I excused myself and leave the brothers to our pastor because my fellow sisters started preparing the food. I was the one who did the steam fish and it was a happy work for me as I love cooking. I stuffed the fish with oyster sauce and cheese. Other sisters prepared ingredients for white pansit and some other foods. The brothers were in-charge of lechon kawali.

We're finished before lunch and set the table for the occasion. It was a festive day for us and we thanked the Lord for giving us a very humble and understanding pastor who also stood by me in times of trouble giving me spiritual advices when I need one. Pastor smiled when he saw the big card that I've made for all of us to sign of course with our dear pastor's picture to complete the effect.

Linggo ng Wika

It's the celebration of Linggo ng Wika in Josh school and I have to take a leave off my work to assist him in all their programs and activities. School gave all parents program so all will be aware of the scheduled participation. Josh has some phrases to memorize and his experience in their last graduation's speech helped him a lot to be confident in facing the crowd and delivering his lines correct and clear.

It was a very hot day and we were all exposed to heat but the excitement of seeing their own kids in Filipino costume and dancing Filipino dances was much more overwhelming than the scorching heat. We reached the school with Josh wearing his barong but changed immediately upon learning that his dance 'magtanim ay di biro' will come first.

Final part is the group of kids with specific lines for national anthem (delivered by Josh), national animal, flower, plants, fish, national hero and many more. I was looking at all these kids and smiled to myself admiring them for delivering their particular lines clearly, they're really studying their lessons don't you think?

Caring For Your Skin

Having beautiful skin needs proper nutrition and maintenance to keep it supple and radiant. In the past people are using natural ingredients such as plants and other materials to protect their skin from dryness and aging. I even heard my granny mix up concoction of fruits and some elements to use as moisturizer or lotion. Some I heard was using calamansi extract to make their skin whiter and many other self-made natural skin care. Skin, the largest organ in our body can make you look really beautiful and healthy if properly cared for.

Almost every woman tried skin care products that would assure them of having youthful and radiant-looking skin but others just don’t know that some products can be harmful to their skin because of the chemical products present in some skin care products. I came upon online some good sites specializing in products that would give women enough choices for their specific requirements. But the real good sites are those that offer natural skin care products like astara skin care various products. They used natural foods, plant extracts and all-natural ingredients for skin repair, rejuvenation and protection because they believe that right nourishment, healthy diet and natural skin care products are the things needed in having a healthy and youthful skin.

Astaraskincare.com specializes in the creation of professional organic skin care products to meet all your needs. Car Trouble

Early in the morning my hubby checked the car to see if the only trouble is in the gear box. Bro. Alex has scheduled his time early morning today to checkup on the car but was cancelled because hubby can’t take a leave off his work today. This brother that I mentioned always helps us every time the car shows some trouble, he’s a driver/mechanic for some years now and he knows a lot about his field.

After thorough checking hubby confirmed that the only trouble is in the gear box. I’m glad because that would mean extra expenses on us like when our car aircon failed to give out cool air we spent sizeable amount on our ac compressor. It’s good that way back then we found a good and reliable shop that gave us a very nice price quotation.

God's Protective Hands On Us

Sunday again and we’re busy preparing our things for this Sunday service fellowship, our service always lasts for hours until early evening covering morning fellowship and afternoon sharing of God’s word. As always hubby cleans and conditions the car checking each component if functioning properly. Suddenly when he was preparing the car for backing out in the garage our steering wheel lost its grip and missed control over the wheels. We’re just so glad that it happened when we’re still home and not on the road because it might bring us disaster.

We’re so thankful that God didn’t allowed that to happen. Hubby testified that in our church and when he said that ‘God is so good that He never let us run on the road with a defective car that can kill us all’ I was so blessed with the word. God is really good not only yesterday, not only today but ALL THE TIME …..

Baby Strollers

It’s always nice to have baby around the house especially the newborn babies which I love to cuddle and kiss. Their hands and face are soft like cotton and their eyes are very beautiful. You just have to be very careful in handling or carrying them because their little bodies are very delicate. It’s good if you have strollers where you can place them securely if you want to bring them around your garden when you want the sun shines on them early in the morning.
There are many designs available for your specific needs in the market. I was attracted by the Caboose Ultralight stroller that I’ve found online. Aside from being ultralight it has an organizer which is very helpful in storing some of your things while strolling your baby. It also has a car seat attachment which is essential while your family is traveling with your baby. In choosing for a good stroller you really must look for comfort and functionality.
