Warm Buddy

It was a lazy afternoon with rain threatening to burst anytime. I was the last to leave the office at past 6pm before the CSR night-duty. Was having some calls and reading some text messages from sis-in-law to email another sis-in-law when I saw from the glass window of our building that rain started to fall. Seeing from the glass it wasn't so threatening but when I saw it outside I nearly backed out, glad I brought my jacket with me and of course my small umbrella. I'm like that I can't brave the rain without my constant companion AND MY WARM BUDDY-my jacket, I can do it without an umbrella though as long as I have something to cover my back because I easily chill.

Graceful Escape

Had a bad night’s sleep due to severe backache, no worry with office work as I’ve already filed my leave as I’ve enrolled my kids in the morning. I had a massage therapy by none other than my Mom, really super mom! She used to do that every time I’m in deep pain due to my usual backache sickness. I used to have it ever since I’m into technical proposal group spending days and overnights beating the deadline of bidding projects.

It was an experience that proved the group’s strength intellectually and physically, endurance was the game. Some gets hospitalized after a week of overnights but I’m lucky enough to pass that stage without a single hospital attendance. I’m very careful with what I eat; I see to it that I get healthy food complete with fruits and veggies despite lacking sleep. Even if my blood pressure is only 80/60 I survived for 10 long years until I was transferred to my boss’ new company which for me is graceful escape.

Afternoon Sharing

It was raining hard this afternoon, the cool breeze after the rain makes it more satisfying to spend the afternoon in the church hearing our Pastor’s continuation of his message “I Will Restore”. It’s the third part and I’m not sure if he will finally complete the message as he explicitly explained every bit and pieces of this very special message. It’s about reviving and restoring our faith to our Father. The best part of this message is when Pastor connects God’s word to our everyday living illustrating type and shadow, best way in relating it to our own lives. As they say the true measure of a true Christian is constantly weigh on how we deal with our lives outside the church. As this world is like a battle field of good and bad.

Savings Account

Even if I and my husband both work in an office we find it hard to save money in the bank, the present economy of this country is really taking us all deeper financially. Actually I can say that we’re lucky enough to have stable job that’s supported our family’s needs for more than a decade. Yes we’ve been in our respective jobs for more than 15 years and we’re still on it.

I’ve been thinking about my children’s schooling and since in about two years they will be entering secondary schools I’m planning to save money for their education. And to be sure that money will be safe in the bank I’ll be opening savings accounts in their name. Since I got into writing advertisement online I shall put my earnings on their account to separate income of my freelance work from my regular office work salary. That’s a nice finance plan.

Air Tools

We’ve hired a carpenter today to do some home repair in our house. Because we’re all working in an office we can’t find the time to go over all repair works needed, we can’t even allot time to schedule repairman. As the carpenter started with his work I noticed that he’s brought all his tools for his two-day work in our house. I remember asking him yesterday if he could bring his air tools so he can do all work needed to fix everything in the house because air tools can really do incredible works around your home and even in your shop too.

Drying Up Clothes

I've been looking at my laundry and thinking if I could probably hang it outside but been hesitant because it's been raining all days this week. It's good that nowadays we have spin dryers to help us dry our clothes even on rainy season but these kind doesn't really dry up to the maximum level. Spin dryers just spin the clothes up to the extent that all water are squeezed out but you have to it hang for about few hours without the sun or one hour with the sun to get the driest level of clothes. It's nice to hang it outside where the sun can reach it but you'll have to watch it carefully because if the rain comes you'll be sorry. I decided to let the sun shines on my laundry because I saw that we have a nice weather today! Good for me!
