This is our church flowers the other Sunday and it's my first time to see this kind of blooms the reason why I posted this one in case someone knows the name of this flower, help me out! Flowers always gives me a feeling of God's wonderful and beautiful creations. They fascinates and attracts me somehow! I just love them!

Discipline is Important

It’s hard to maintain a good and healthy body when you have no control over your food intake. We always have temptations on many occasions and self-control is always tested. On such occasions many of us would probably say this is my last time to eat plenty and tomorrow I’ll start my diet but that’s a history. It’s always tomorrow because it’s easy to say it than doing it.

I’m saying this because I’ve experienced it especially when I’m in the office and there are birthdays, despedida and company parties. It’s hard to resist because it’s always happier to indulge on foods when you’re in a group. Eating together is always fun but most of the times you’re not in control of what you’re eating. After the occasion that’s the time that you’ll realize that you’ve crossed over the gate of your discipline. Then you’ll need something that will help you shed off excess pounds like ephedra. Many people should be aware that it’s also best to consult your doctor first before taking some diet pills and when taking it you should also maintain proper diet food plan, exercise and a lot of discipline on yourself.

Here in the Philippines if you want kids to enjoy birthday parties just celebrate it in Jollibee and you'll surely make them happy. Here's a shot from my niece' 7th birthday which my brother hosted it at Jollibee in Ever branch. Josh was only 3 years old then and he's not so keen on getting close to Jollibee mascot that's why he's not included here, it's just Mitch, the birthday celebrant and Ruth.

President Corazon Aquino and Her Memories

Our dear Madame former President Cory Aquino died of cardio-respiratory arrest at 3:18am today at Makati Medical Center leaving with us great memories of Philippines’ historical events of gaining back democracy in our country.

Here’s an excerpt from his son's statement:

The statement read:

"Our mother peacefully passed away at 3:18 a.m., August 1, 2009, of cardio-respiratory arrest. “She would have wanted to thank each and every one of you for all the prayers and your continued love and support. It was her wish for all of us to pray for one another and for our country. “Hinihiling po ng aming pamilya ang kaunting panahon para makasama namin ang aming mahal na ina. “Later today, we will be announcing further details of her wake para sa lahat ng ating mga minamahal na kababayan na nais magbigay ng respeto sa aming ina. Maraming salamat po.” Source : Inquirer.net

It’s the first time that I’ll be featuring a political figure in my blog because if you have noticed I’m not blogging about political and showbiz personalities here. Madame Aquino is a different thing as she’s not an ordinary figure for me as she has contributed a lot in regaining back our country’s precious freedom from bondage. It’s very memorable for us who were then students of PUP because a lot of things changed when Pres. Prudente was appointed back by Pres. Aquino. Our campus was in tumult then because we were operated with the strictest regulations and the students who participated in mass actions were handled with grave hands. After the ousting of our campus President and replaced by the original President Prudente things has changed for the better and I graduated with a deep sense of gratitude that democracy has turned our school into a state university with better educational standards and learning structure.

This is just my own personal point of view and I don’t want any political thing about this.

The Yellow Tide

Aquino turned yellow into the color of her campaign. It was, personally, one of her favorite hues; but its political significance stemmed from the yellow ribbons tied around Manila's trees and posts (inspired by an American pop song) by the supporters of her husband to welcome him on what proved to be his tragic return home. When the Kids Reaches Teenage Years

I was having some talk with my friends in school and you know those little mommy talks it’s always about family, children, hubby and chores. Anyway as our kids are mostly of the same ages nearing teens we’re talking about how they grow up so fast like Ruth my eldest who’s grown up really fast this summer vacation. They noticed that she’s a very big girl now just about close to my chin level when we’re standing up close.

We know that when the kids grow up to teenage years they will experience major changes in their bodies especially when the girls had their periods or when their faces experienced having some pimples on their baby face skin. I didn’t have much problem on that area when I was a teen but my cousin did. She started having acne when she’s in secondary schools and always looking for top acne treatments until after college years. She always consults skin experts or dermatologist but the problem still occurs. She tried everything that her doctor advised her and after sometime she achieved great results after she finally found the perfect solution for her. I also noticed that her acne subsided before she reached 30 years of age. I think age has something to do with it also.

Busy Me

Been busy these past three days and I just sneak to blog to update somehow. As it's only now that I got time to do everything I need and I want because I'm just working at home. I'm checking my kids at school at least twice a week and attending school activities. I'm happy that I can now squeeze my time but I'm aware also that I have to manage my time carefully or I'll be running out of time for my tasks' due dates. I thank God that He's giving my sites lot of blessings that I feel I'm more overloaded now than when I'm working full time in office and part time online. Of course I love it I just have to plan my time wisely or else I will not be able to catch up with my assignments.

:Today's Flowers #50

This is the white orchid that we brought home from our hometown in Laguna. My shot seems so dark as I took the shot in the evening with macro setup. My niece's hubby is growing some ornamental plants and flowers including varieties of orchids and my niece picked this one for my Mom as she knows my Mom's flair for beautiful orchids. Travel from Laguna to Rizal seems not so good for the orchid as after two days these blooms withered. It's ok as we have two whole plants with us. Just have to wait for the next blooms.

Blogging is my way of expressing my thoughts and experiences in life. It is in sharing those that I came to share also some inspirational thoughts to help people be refreshed and inspired. In this world we live in you cannot have a life without challenges, pressures and worries. Women by nature loves being beautiful and some who are vain enough spend time and money to enhance their features for a more beautiful look. I believe in natural beauty and I know there many ways on how to make yourself pretty without changing a bit of the natural you. You can do it by dressing up in fashion, you can make your hair the crowning glory of your face by keeping it long, black and shiny or you can just be a natural person with a strong character that will make you stand out. Beauty is from within and no matter how hard you maintain your physical looks as long as you’re not good from inside it will show also. You should be beautiful inside and out.

Talking about women, beauty and character most women accentuate their looks and status by wearing jewelries. They believe that your choice of jewelry defines your character as well as your status in life. As for me I’m very fond of heart pendant jewelry which shows that no matter how my age would add I’m always be young at heart with my chosen jewelry designs.
