What Do Your Initials Say About You?

You Are Tender and Tolerant

When You Are Comfortable:

You are a sensitive, gentle soul. You want to save the world... or as much of it as possible.

People see you as unselfish and well mannered. You truly enjoy being around others, and it shows.

When You Are At Your Best:

You are a determined and responsible. You strive for success, and you know what it takes to get things done.

People find you to be trustworthy and a good leader. You treat people well, and they benefit from your wisdom.

When You Are in a Social Setting:

You are a strong person. You're driven and assertive. Success is yours, as much as you want it.

People find you to be clever and spirited. You're a bit saucy too... delightfully so!

What Do Your Initials Say About You?

Try this out girls, it's fun!

Warm Ambience

Lighting enhances your homes in the sense that you could make a choice if you want to have warm ambience in the house or a cooler atmosphere. It depends on your choice or preference. For me I want a house with a homey atmosphere with warm lightings on the living room and bright lightings on the kitchen as long as it doesn’t cost me much. I prefer led lighting on all parts of the house indoor and outdoor for economic purpose and long-life. It saves me a lot on my electric bills without having problems on what shape and size I want because they have all the variations I want.

Heidi & Lister's Wedding

It's my niece' wedding, another wedding after Crisna for which I posted last December. They're both my nieces to my male first cousins Kuya Audy and Kuya Eddie. I saw Heidi grew up from baby to toddler to little girl and to being the woman she is now. Despite some trials that happened in her family she bravely faced the challenges and succeeded. She graduated with two courses Computer Secretarial and Bachelor's Degree in Education.

My father's youngest sister Tya Elvie raised her up until she became a very good preschool teacher. She continued the teaching profession legacy in our clan and loved every single day of enriching the kids’ knowledge. I was happy that she has chosen to be a teacher, one of the most humble and dignified profession. My mom and my two aunties were retired teachers. I love teaching in fact I was the one who taught Heidi how to read the ABCD book when she was 6 years old but I don’t have the patience of teaching more than 10 students lol!

It was a civil wedding only and they will plan for a church wedding in the coming years. They picked me and my Kuya to be one of their sponsors and I was happy to accept it. She grew up with us and we love her. Lister on the other hand became Josh’ favorite as they always play cars when Lister visits us. Mayor Mon Ilagan officiated the ceremony and it was a very enlightening moment as he discussed the value of respect, trust and love in every relationship. He’s a very good speaker owing to his many years in the media I guess. We laughed with his antics and agreed with his advices.

We later had our late lunch reception in Max’s Restaurant in Sta. Lucia Grand Mall with just a few close relatives present in the occasion. Mom and Tya Elvie didn’t make it so they just brought food packages back home.

Social Security Coverage

For several years now that I’m employed I’ve enjoyed having my social security contributed not only by myself but with the help of my employers. In this way you’ll have more remittances deposited on your account unlike those with voluntary contributions. Actually I’ve reached the minimum contributions needed for an early retirement and I was very thankful that anytime I stopped working I can enjoy my contributed remittances.

It’s a great help for employees to be secured with social security insurance which covers pension when you reached maturity, maternity and sickness benefits, disability insurance, salary loans and many other benefits opened to contributing members. It’s good to have one because you’ll never know what will happen to you when you’re working, at least you’ll be covered enough. There are other companies that will assist you in your medical and healthcare needs; you can actually browse them online.

:WW - Relaxing Water Falls

Just seeing this picture somehow relaxes me quite differently. As always moving water affects my mood, makes me pensive sometimes and peacefully happy most of the times. The effect is greater when I'm on a beach seeing the ocean and its waves. But then this pool can relax me also with its man-made falls which makes it nicer. This is the pool of Marabella Resort in Antipolo where my niece celebrated her wedding reception.

Having Some Discipline

I feel great having disciplined myself not to eat too much on dinner time, it was hard because I’m the one who cooks dinner and the temptation is very high. I really must start on my diet plan or my clothes wouldn’t fit me in two months time. Just today I had to change my clothes because my size got bigger. I heard about acai berry and I still have to decide if the story about losing 14 pounds in 25 days is really true and can happen also to me. I think for now I’ll stick to my ‘after-six no meal’ plan. By the way I eat at 5:30pm.

Road Improvement Headache

I had only an hour or two sleep last night because Meralco has started changing our street’s electric post for the new widened roads. The widening and drainage improvement of A Bonifacio Avenue is nearing to an end, hopefully with all prayers! This project has caused too much disturbance in our place and the sad thing about it is it took them more than 2 months to do widening of a street which is less than 1 kilometer in length. I’ve been in a consulting company for construction of bridges and roads and I have a basic knowledge of at least knowing how long it will take to do the job.

The progress was so slow it will give you headache if you’re living in our place. Not to mention that we were only given a meager amount for the affected properties that was demolished. The amount was not enough to construct a new wall fence, gate and the private concrete post we have in our house. Though we have accepted all of this because we have no choice I think it’s the government’s duty to at least finish the work as fast as they could because it’s giving us a headache. Really road improvements are most of the times a pain!
