Travel To France

I’ve always love to travel to places with great historical background and culture. It has always been my favorite subject in my high school days. I dig various histories of different countries especially those with modern culture now thinking how they reached the modern transition. I’ve been reading a lot these days and been fascinated with the rich culture, background history and tradition of France which is a much known country now. I also love the beautiful places there and been fascinated with the 14th century castle Fort La Latte in northern Brittany. I came to know its beauty and how it came to exist up to now despite being attacked and dismantled. Now it has been restored and you can visit its spectacular beauty.

Beside the splendor of the magical beauty of the castle there are many other places that a traveler would love to visit and stay on Hotel Paris where you can have the comfort and experience the luxury of staying in a hotel with all the best deal you can find. After all you really need to stay to visit all the wonderful places, experience and see the beauty of France like the famous prehistoric paintings at the Lascaux Cave in Dordogne, the luscious French chocolates and perfumes, the undeniable beauty of French crafts and fashion, the “Cable-Stayed Bridge” or Millau Viaduct and many other things that France offers to their visitors and guests.

Memories of Fiesta

It’s barrio fiesta here in our barangay and I remember many special moments with my high school friends during fiestas. Of course Bes JennyL would always be there in our house during those occasions. During those days I’ve always looked forward to fiestas because it’s nice to watch amateur, parade and of course the food! My mom is a great cook and she always took time to cook the special and time-consuming menu like hamonado and lumpia which took a lot of preparation to do unlike the usual other menus of my mom like menudo, kaldereta, mechado. Barrio fiesta is only celebrated by the so-called ‘taga-barrio’ which is dominantly populated by the Bombay-looking people in Cainta including my ancestors – the one that they called sepoys or Indian soldiers.

Because it’s a barrio fiesta the common visitors are also from the same or nearby town unlike town fiesta which usually invites people from faraway places. Actually me and my friends sometimes hopped in each other houses just to taste desserts like if our house have fruit salad we will eat some other kind of dessert on our other friend’s house, just for fun really! Anyway we were very young then and occasions make us happy.

Now I’ve grown up and became a born-again Christian we never celebrate and attend fiesta anymore. Beliefs and traditions change as you grow older and mature in the spiritual side of life. Those fun memories are part of my happy teenage years and will always be special.

My Mom's Birthday

Its my Mom’s birthday last May 30, 2008 and instead of celebrating it on other venue we decided to just celebrate it simply on our home. We earlier planned to have it at her hometown in Laguna but later decided to have a simple birthday only with close family, close friends and some relatives only. Last year was a happy, fun and quite relaxing also as we had it at Bosay Resort in Antipolo, Rizal. Our relatives in Laguna were there together with friends and family. It wasn’t raining that day so we really enjoyed swimming, eating and celebrating her 75th birthday that day.

This year’s birthday is very quiet as we didn’t invite anyone save for a few who has been with her most of the time and visits her frequently. This is quite different as we always have plenty of guests until evening. This time we had more time to sit, relax and talk to close friends and guests. You don’t have to entertain them as they’re very close and most are our own family.

Her relatives in Laguna didn’t make it as my cousin who planned the birthday visit to my mother suddenly felt ill and we advised her to just rest and visit my Mom when she’s well. They talked on the phone and my Mom was happy enough that she’s talked with her brother Uncle Ipeng and her daughter Ka Duneng, nieces and grandchildren. Ka Duneng is my Mom’s daughter also as she’s lived with her when my Mom before Mom got married.

I’ve cooked the family’s favorite hamonado, chicken and the usual spaghetti. Redge and I prepared lots of dessert like macaroni salad, fruit salad and many more. My family was so fond of salad and it includes my youngest Josh who never stopped eating macaroni salad and Gen on her fruit salad. One of Mom’s niece brought a red ribbon chocolate cake and to match that I’ve bought ice cream.

We thanked God that He has given us a mother that’s so caring, loving and never miss a day and moment in her life praying and thanking God for all the wonderful blessings that she had in her life. She always told her friends that she loves us dearly. Happy Birthday Mom! We love you so much!

Employment in New Zealand

Do you know the latest land of opportunity? It’s New Zealand, the land of the long white cloud. What I know of New Zealand are the beautiful and fresh acres of green grass where good breed of cows were cared for to produce fresh milk exported to different countries including the Philippines. My favorite milk when I was a child until now came from New Zealand. It’s actually the most beautiful country with snowy mountains and wonderful beaches. Now I’ve been hearing some good news about this country as I have a friend applying for New Zealand residency and she actually asked help from me to acquaint her with some information and facts about the country she wants to move to. It’s always good to know everything so that preparations can be made earlier.

Alongside New Zealand’s fast growing economy are the job opportunities available in New Zealand. But you have to be competitive with your experience and qualifications to land a good employment in New Zealand so it’s better to start gaining knowledge on how to migrate, work and live there. I’ve found Lets Move 2 NZ, a website that caters specifically to those want to get work visa or permanent residence because it provides all information about New Zealand’s climate, lifestyle, job opportunities, economy and application requirements to work or live there.

Flores De Mayo

We all know that May is the month when flower blooms so beautifully together with different equally pretty ornamental plants. That's why we also chose this month to be our wedding date 12 years ago. I really love the month of May because it brings so many memories of happy childhood playing in the sun with my siblings, cousins and friends, you know I have plenty. Or sometimes playing board games when we want to relax.

That's our usual summer vacation days which was often combined with weekend swimming escapades around the resorts in Rizal towns. It was a happy childhood and teenage years. To coincide with the blooming month and summer vacation, Flores de Mayo was also there to give highlights to this beautiful month, actually it's the month ender. I remember seeing the best Flores De Mayo at the end of the month always.

As you can see here Josh' everyday buddy and friend Carl was beaming with happiness as he and his partner joined the last parade of Flores de Mayo for this year last Saturday May 31. He was looking at us and was excitedly asking if Josh was there to see him, I told him that I'll just take a picture of him because Josh was asleep already.

Child Safety

As parents we give all our love, time and financial support to our children to ensure that they will have the best of everything they want. We nurture and discipline them in a way that they should be when they grow up. They are our precious treasure and most important next to God. We love them dearly and we’ll do anything just to keep them from harm, after all child safety is the most important thing to keep in mind always. Our children are God’s gift to us and He entrusted them to us to love and protect.

These days we often hear about news of children being kidnapped for ransom and if the parents can’t give the bad guys what they want the poor kids end up being killed or hurt. This is a frightening thing as we really don’t know how bad are the bad guys and how far they will go to extract money from their victims. Missing children are usually reported to police authorities but it takes time to gather information, pictures and relevant documents that are needed for the investigation to start. Time is very important here as anything horrible can happen in few hours. I’ve heard reports that some abducted children were killed after being lost for 3 hours.

To be sure you have all the information you need in case of emergency you should take a look into Child Alert System which offers security and storage of your children’s confidential and valuable data. With the use of their unique system you don’t have to worry about your child safety. You can easily store your information on Kidzcapsule, maps out favorite hangouts on Kidzmap just like a child locator and notify friends and family in a click the moment you realized your child is missing by means of Kidzblast. In this way they can easily assist local enforcement authorities with all the information ready to use.

Fruity Facial Cream With Egg

All of us want a clear, soft and tight skin but sometimes we don’t have the time and budget for things like this. We usually leave our beauty regimen as our last priority especially moms out there who were so busy attending to their kids.

I for myself don’t have time for these things having 3 kids, a regular office work and a part-time work at night on the internet. You should try this one as this facial cream is best for oily skin. Lemon can be used as a natural cleanser as most cleansing products are using lemon as their ingredients. Would you believe grapes? Yes this one will soften your skin and finally the egg whites which tighten it (as we all know)

Ingredients : Lemon, Grapes and Egg Whites

Preparation/Procedure:
Slice the lemon and extract the juice, put it in a bowl. Squeeze the grapes extract into the same bowl. Add egg whites to lemon and grapes extract and mix them smoothly.

Apply into your face and leave it on for 20 or so minutes. You’ll feel a little prickle in your skin because of the egg whites. Rinse face with warm water and you’ll feel a lot better with soft and radiant skin.

Five-Day Stay in Hotel

My colleagues went out of the country for a business trip and to attend a conference. They have prepared their passport, conference documents and baggage early yesterday so they won’t rush for today’s flight. Our technical head arranged for one of his staff to temporarily check technical matters for him and asked his staff to report to him via online messaging. Everything is ready including the reservations for 5-day stay in one of the cheap hotels available near the conference venue. They didn’t want a luxury hotel because they’ll just stay in the hotel at night after a day of attending conferences. Men are like that they’re not so fussy like girls.

Nanny Camera

For working moms like me we have no choice but to leave our kids to the care and protection of hired nannies because we work for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Lucky are those who can afford to stay home and personally administer their household and kids. I really envy them and been thinking a lot these days what would be the best plan to work and at the same time care for their personal and emotional needs. I also want to know what’s happening with my kids the time that I’m in the office. I know one officemate of mine who uses nanny camera to make sure that the nannies are doing the right thing with her toddler son.

Some may not like this kind of security that parents are doing but most parents are really over protective regarding their children. They want the best protection for their kids especially if the kids are infant or toddler. Some feel secured if there’s nanny camera on their house in which they can view their child’s activities and how their nannies treated them. Who knows? Each and every person has their own characteristics and moods. What if the one you entrusted to take care of your precious kid is capable of hurting children?

Each person has his/her own rights and I’m sure most nannies wouldn’t like or would feel uncomfortable if they will know that they’re being monitored by nanny camera. Best if they will never ever know it’s there. Anyway there’s a site that offers various types of nanny cameras disguised as mere decoration, toys, clocks or small appliances to make sure that kids are safe in your own house even if you’re no there. They have special designs like the nanny camera disguised as wall clock, wireless teddy bear cameras, black box, time recorder and DVD players. These designs can be easily set up for monitoring and recording as well. With these gadgets and modern technology reaching our homes there’s no need to worry about the time that we’re away from our loved ones.
