Hard Work for Small Pay

I’m buying from my favorite store for my spices, flour, cornstarch, cocoa, baking powder and other baking supplies when I noticed one staff that doesn’t seem to figure out how he’s going to transfer sacks of their goods from delivery truck to their warehouse. He’s doing it alone because everybody was busy on customers. Anyway he’s using one of those industrial hand wheels I’ve seen in office warehouse and it looks that it’s not enough to make his work easier.

He really needs another staff to help him. I told the guy serving us that my order can wait for 5-10 minutes since DH was not yet around. I’m glad that he got the signs and proceeded to help the other guy. I can’t stand the sight of too much labor done by one person. I was imagining things on how DH was doing his work on his warehouse in his previous job. There are many hard works rendered for just a small or minimum salary pay.

Tired from School Conference

I was tired from watching over Gen who participated in the District School Conference about Journalism. It was a competition for writing about different aspects of journalism including news, feature, editorial, sports, copy reading, headline writing, photo journalism and many others. Actually I was only there to bring my daughter’s lunch but I suddenly got lazy going home alone and besides some of my Mom friends were there so I stayed awhile which took me until the end of the program. They were being taught about the different aspects of writing before they will be given a certain amount of time to do their write ups. I enjoy the lecture because some of the tips and guides can also be applied in my online writing job. I was knocked down after reaching home and had the energy to work late in the evening.

Projects Are Abundant

I saw my brother’s current residential contract project and I like the almost duplex style of the house. It’s a two-storey house with two main doors and two gates intended to be useful when they want to convert it to a duplex house. I’ve observed that Bro has really putting the project to the top of his priority just like any engineer who has given his desired projects. I wonder if brother will be able to get a contract for vertical projects like multi-storey office centers, steel buildings, school buildings or any other bigger projects than residential. Anyway residential projects are abounding for my brother right now so there’s no need to wish for more. God knows when to pour out his blessings.

Walking Is Good For Me

We were using my brother’s car now because it’s just parked in their house and no one’s using it. But every time we used it we parked it in their garage and we just walked from brother’s house to our own. I always accompany my hubby in parking the car there because it’s always a good walk for us after that. I really enjoyed the walk yesterday night because it brings back my healthy exercise habit of walking.

I’ve been negligent in exercising for 2 months already and I want to go back to my old routine so I can shed some excess pounds along the way. I heard about what HCG injections Austin can do to make weight loss easier but I’m still comfortable with the old conservative way of getting slimmer. I’m more at ease with having healthy diet and regular exercise as the first thing to do to be fit. I know that with discipline and determination I can go back to a slimmer and more fit physique.

Whew these are lots of information and of course I'm not supposed to know these as  I was just brought up in the world then,  I was even born in the last days of 1967.  What amazed me most is the FCC's orders about including a warning about the health risks of smoking in which the message obviously wasn't properly understood by people as they continued with their vices leading to many cases of emphysema and lung cancer these days. Anyway I'm lucky though that milk wasn't so expensive those days :-)

Accutane’s Side Effects and Lawsuit

It’s always our wishes to have blemish-free skin but I guess even if you did a lot of skin regimen you have to experience some facial skin trouble when you entered adolescence just like my daughter who recently turned 13. She has a soft smooth skin ever since she was a baby but now I noticed little roughness when she has her monthly period. for the industrial sectors. I’m not much knowledgeable about the specific needs of that particular sector but my friend was because she’s worked for industrial companies for several years and stopped only when she got pregnant. Now she’s thinking of getting back again and applied for her former position. I hope she’ll be back in circulation because I haven’t seen her for more than a year because she returned to her hometown province.

Friendship and Precious Jewels

My friends and I were talking of our work and businesses for the last couple of years and we didn’t notice that the hours passed by quickly. We called it a night after we observed that we’re the only group left in the pizza restaurant. It’s really hard to reminisce the old times in just one night and we promised to do it more often. We’re inseparable for 5 long years and we wouldn’t let those good friendships slipped away because of our busy life. 

Friends come and go but those true friends we came to know and been with should be treasured. They’re like precious jewels and gold coins that we collect through the years for our hobby and investment. They’re almost the same as when the gold yields a high returns for our capital it’s just the same for friendship because they will also give you a high return of love and care in the end. Pretty comparison huh!

Dear Cousins

Gifts for the little boy are still coming daily especially those who are in the neighbourhood because they were not able to attend his birthday which was celebrated near our church venue. Just today his cousin Ate Heidi and Kuya Lister gave him a wolverine shirt which is one of his fave. He’s happy to receive it from his two close relatives. He loves being with them always when they were living inside the compound. Now they were staying in the next uptown and visit us once a week only. Btw the couple love him and they used to say that Josh is their eldest son. They have a beautiful baby girl named Iya who is turning one this October. I’m also very fond of Iya.
